ANAMATIC Final draft

SCENE:1 SHOT:1

The trailer will start off with an establishing shot of the mother and daughter entering the house.

SCENE:2 SHOT:2

Medium shot of the mother and daughter entering the house

SCENE:1 SHOT:3

Long shot of the mother and daughter entering the house. I’m not to sure about this shot as I don’t think it adds anything to the scene, in terms of showing their close relationship. However I will film this scene and decide when editing.

SCENE:1 SHOT:4

This close up of the mother and daughter hugging emphasises how close these they are.

SCENE:2 SHOT:1

This is a long shot of Louise and Nicola sitting on the sofa, Louise has a letter on the table.

SCENE:2 SHOT:2

This is an extreme close up of the letter. To make this more scary I will write “MUM” on the front of the envelope.

SCENE:2 SHOT:3

Again another extreme close up, but it is Louise picking up the letter.

SCENE:2 SHOT:4

This mid shot of Louise staring at the letter shows the fear and makes the audience wonder what secret she is keeping.

SCENE:2 SHOT:5

Close up of Louise’s face emphasises the fear in her eyes. However instead of this shot I will show a close up of the letter so the audience can read what it says

SCENE:2 SHOT:6

Extreme close up of Louise scrunching the letter up. I don’t think this shot works as the audience already realise that she is scared and scrunching it up is unnecessary

SCENE:3 SHOT:1

Wide shot of Louise sitting on the bed staring at a picture of her adopted son

SCENE:3 SHOT:2

Mid shot of Louise sitting on the bed staring at the picture and saying how much she regrets what she did

SCENE:3 SHOT:3

Over the shoulder and point of view shot of the son

SCENE:3 SHOT:4

Close up of Louise’s face up. To make this shot more emotional I will shoot Louise kissing the picture instead of just holding it

SCENE:4 SHOT:1Wide shot of Louise cooking

SCENE:4 SHOT:2

Mid shot of Louise cooking

SCENE:1 SHOT:3

Mid shot of Louise cooking. I think these shots are not working as they’re too long and as this is a trailer it should get to the point faster, so I might cut these cooking shots out

SCENE:4 SHOT:4

Extreme close up of Louise cutting vegetables

SCENE:4 SHOTS:5

Tilt shot from the extreme close up of the knife to her body. I will definitely take out these shots

SCENE:4 SHOTS:6

The lights go out in the kitchen

SCENE:4 SHOT: 7

Mid shot of Michael behind Louise holding a knife makes this scene dramatic and entices the audience to watch the film

SCENE:5 SHOT:1

Mid shot of Michael holding a knife with blood on it. Making the audience wonder if he killed Louise. This scene is good as it adds to the tension of the trailer

SCENE:5 SHOT:2

Mid shot of Michael holding the knife and walking slwoly

SCENE:5 SHOT:3

Mid shot of Michael slowly with the knife

SCENE:5 SHOT:4

Close up of the Knife

SCENE:5 SHOT:5

Extreme close up of the knife. This scene builds up to the last scene of the trailer showing Michael isn’t here for peace but revenge.

SCENE:6 SHOT:1

Wide shot of Nicola tied to the bed and Michael holding a knife.

SCENE:6 SHOT:2

Long shot of Nicola on the bed and the knife above her body.

SCENE:6 SHOT: 3

Extreme close up of Nicola’s face and her screaming and pleading for mercy

SCENE:6 SHOT:4

Over the shoulder shot of Nicola on the bed screaming while Michael is standing over her ready to kill her

SCENE:6 SHOT:5

Wide shot of Michael lifting the knife up about to end Nicola’s life

SCENE:6 SHOT:5

Extreme close up of the knife

SCENE:6 SHOT:6

Over the shoulder shot of Michael lifting the knife up and about to stab his sister as she screams. This scene is good as it adds to the horror of the trailer and entices the audience to watch it as they want to know if he kills her or not and if he will escape or die
