000- Generalities• You would put things like computer sciences,

encyclopedias, special topics, almanacs, biographies, and dictionaries here!

100s- Philosophy & Psychology (Dreams and Feelings) • This is where you place

books dealing with feelings, dreams, aliens, ghosts, and paranormal (weird) stuff!

200s- Religion

• In this section, you will find books on religious belief (theology) and practice.

400s- Language• In this section, you

will find books on different languages whether it be speaking, translating, or reading them!

500s- Natural Sciences & Math• This section has books on animals, birds,

reptiles, the solar system, electricity, life sciences, math, and chemistry!!

600s- Technology (How to do stuff…)• This section deals with agriculture,

home economics (like cooking), buildings, medical science, and manufacturing!

700s- Arts & Recreation• Drawing, Painting,

Music, Sports, video game info, dancing, and photography are all found here!

800s- Literature & Rhetoric

• You can find all kinds of stories, plays, and poetry in this section. These come from many different countries!!

900s- Geography & History• In this section you will find books on

geography, travel, history, and the world!

Dewey Round Table Activity• There are four students to a table. The

students will be given printouts with a number on it: 000-900 representing the different sections. As the books appear on screen, they are to hold up the number they believe is the classification for the book!
