Title:Cloud Computing and StartupsAbstract: Early stage companies, typically referred to as startups, usually have very small resources to play with and, at the same time,a strong demand for  flexibility and scalability. To be able todevelop business ideas into services quickly, and at the same time beable to adopt to the customer feedback is vital for these companies.Cloud computing brings the ability to scale both technologically andbusiness-wise using pay-as-you-go paradigm, allowing the users toconcentrate more resources and time on their ideas. The match betweenstartups and cloud computing was identified early, making many of thestartups early adopters of this paradigm shift. In this presentationwe look more closely on how cloud computing accelerates the highlyiterative innovation cycle for startups. A number of examples isgiven, we also discuss how cloud computing changes the overalllandscape for startups and investors in startups.
