THE PROJECT

• 15 durability test vehicles:
- 715 C → 9 vehicles; running distance: 850.000 km;
- 915 C → 6 vehicles; running distance: 350.000 km.
• Reliability tests - 40 units in operation at
customers and 8 vehicles simulating
client applications.
• The Light truck market has been increasing during the last couple of years.
• DC is seeking for sales leadership.
• Even though Mercedes-Benz is very well known in the segment,
competition is present.
• “Boom” in the merchandise distribution and intensification of
logistic intelligence (pressure for reduction of transport costs).
