Our school is in small village Paprudžiai, (but calls Kunigiškiai Basic Scool by other village name, too long story), Balbieriškis novad, Prienai district. Near Lithuania heart – Kaunas.

Our village House of Culture organize different activities. We have a dance and music ensemble of folk “Dūmė” (brook name which flow through the village); modern dance group of youth “Fidema”. Here village people can celebrate their family or various general festivals. In the same building is Public Library where everyone can use computers and internet.

Around the village are forests. In north is Prienai pinewood, in south is Balbieriškis forest, in east is “Degsnė” – larch forest, the biggest in Lithuania. Also in this forest is the highest Lithuanian wood – larch, 46 m.

One of the greatest our pride is One of the greatest our pride is Nemunas – the biggest Lithuanian Nemunas – the biggest Lithuanian river. A few kilometers away is river.
