HILL

A hillock is a small hill.

Mountain

A landform that extends above the surrounding terrain in a limited area, with a peak. A mountain is generally steeper than a hill.

Source (of a river)

The source of a river or stream is the place from which the water in the river or stream originates.

The portion of land drained by a river and its tributaries.

Peninsula

A peninsula is a piece of land that is nearly surrounded by water but connected to mainland via an isthmus.

This is Dingle Peninsula in Ireland

Butte

an isolated hill or mountain rising abruptly above the surrounding land.

MESA

an elevated area of land with a flat top and surrounded on all sides by steep cliffs. It takes its name from its characteristic table-top shape.

(Spanish for "table")

An island is any piece of land smaller than a continent and larger than a rock, that is completely surrounded by water. Very small islands are called islets. Although seldom adhered to, it is also proper to call an emergent land feature on an atoll an islet, since an atoll is a type of island. A key or cay is also another name for a relatively small island. Groups of related islands are called archipelagos. There are three main types of islands: continental islands, river islands, and volcanic islands. There are also some artificial islands.

Monadnock

A monadnock is an isolated hill or a lone mountain comprised of bedrock rising above the surrounding area. It is an erosional remnant of a mountain chain left behind because of its more erosion resistant rock.

Cape A cape is a coastal landform extending beyond the adjacent coast into the sea or a lake. A cape is usually more than just a headland and peninsula, having considerable effects on the directions of ocean currents around them.
