The V symbol represents events that we need volunteer help with. Please contact us at Registration@gsnorcal.org if you’d like to volunteer at one of these fun programs!
We have expanded our symbols to include those that help you identify the program content. Our national content of Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, Outdoors, and STEM is supported and supplemented by Girl Scouts' long history of Service as well as FUN!

INFORMATION • 32019 EARLY FALL PREVIEW
ADVENTURE & LEARNING ARE ON THE HORIZONWhether you are a girl, parent, troop leader, or
volunteer, Girl Scouts is designed with you in
mind. Looking to venture into the great outdoors,
or committed to serving your community? Hoping
to travel the state (or country, or world!), explore
science, technology, and engineering, or hone your
entrepreneurial instincts? Girl Scouts has it all covered,
providing you with well-rounded programming that
delivers the essential Girl Scout experience. Registration is now open for all events through December 2019,
so start planning your year—who knows what adventures
are on the horizon?
HOW TO USE THE EARLY FALL PREVIEWTo get the most out of the Early Fall Preview (EFP),
use it alongside the online Activity Finder, which
allows you to search for information and events
using specific interests or locations. It’s easy to register
for events online, access FAQs, and find detailed
registration policies.
FOR GIRLS
Sit down and take a look at all the descriptions of the
experiences. Find the ones that are most exciting to
you and talk with your troop, troop leader, and parent/
guardian about new adventures and skills you’d like
to explore.
FOR PARENTS
Girl Scouts of Northern California has plenty of
adventures that are perfect for the whole household.
You’ll find everything from family explorations to skills
that will set your girl up for success. Scroll through
the programs to get more acquainted with what
GSNorCal has to offer your girl and your family.
FOR TROOP LEADERS AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS
Council-led programs are a fantastic resource to deepen
the experiences of girls over the course of your Girl
Scout year. There are plenty of badge- and Journey-
based adventures, as well as programs related to
service and having fun with a purpose. Share it with
your group of
girls to find out
what their interests
are for the year, and
settle on a few outings
that complement your troop
goals. Are they excited about more
experiences than you can cover in just your
regular troop meetings? Check in with parents to see if
the troop can support the added experiences.
STAY TUNED
The Guide with its full program listing through the end
of the Girl Scout year will be online and mailed to all girl
members in August to help troops, groups, and families
plan the rest of their year. Be on the lookout for big
events that give girls opportunities to travel and meet
other Girl Scouts from all over Northern California!
Throughout the year we introduce new programs as
opportunities arise, so stay up-to date by using the
Activity Finder and watch for program details via email
and social media.
For updates, resources, and photos of our girls out adventuring, find @gsnorcal on
Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter!
