Top 10 Weirdest FoodsFrog legs, anyone? What some may consider strange, or frankly, disgusting, is actually considered a delicacy in parts of the world. Here are some of the weirdest foods out there…

10. StinkbugsA delicacy in Indonesia. Apparently, they taste like bitter sunflower seeds without the salt…. ick.

9. Insect SushiYou’ll find this cuisine over in Japan. Just don’t spray it with Raid. The waiters frown on that.

8. Larvae KebabIf you’re not ready for adult insects, you can enjoy some larvae on a stick in China.

7. Penis FishThe Urechis unicinctus is served in Korea, raw or with sesame seed oil. We’re not sure how they got the name “penis fish.”

6. Fried TarantulaCambodia serves us fried tarantulas, called a-ping. These tasty snacks (the size of your palm!) are a tourist favorite.

5. Scorpion on a StickAs long as we’re eating arachnids, Beijing brings us this treat. Interestingly, they contain the nutritional equivalent of a hot dog.

4. Urine-Soaked EggsStill in China, Tong Zi Dan, or Virgin Boy Eggs, are eggs soaked in the urine of young boys. They’re said to contain health properties, but we’d rather just catch a cold.

3. Rocky Mountain Oysters

Oysters aren’t weird, right? …Wrong. This is no oyster. This is a bull-calf testicle - peeled, flattened, and deep fried.

2. Sannakji Korea brings us this dish, made of raw octopus parts. Better be alert, though, this dish is still moving on the plate.

1. Cockscomb Italy and France serve up this yummy treat. Believe it or not, it’s reputation is “delicious.”
