“Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you will form an invincible host against
difficulties.” – Helen Keller
Oftentimes, our propensity to, to use a popular phrase, remain caught
in the rut, to seek the comfort and solace of a mundane routine to keep
our lives well-oiled, forbids us to look for an inventory that would
truly offer us a meaningful life. However, as Craig D. Lounsbrough so
wisely puts it, “The miracle is that the brilliance of the miraculous can
live in the blandness of the mundane.” The most valued adventures
lie in pushing the boundaries of quotidian life to enjoy the fruits of
some of the richest of experiences. These not only acquaint us with the
rare lessons for life, but also encourage us to explore dimensions
where our truest self is revealed in our actions.
The life of a student in the contemporary society, trapped in a vicious
circle of familial and societal expectations on the one hand and the
ponderous weight of academic rigour, is narrated by a series of
inevitable frustrations. They also have an obligation to prove
themselves to the unceasing expectations of a tech curated world.
Such an institutionalized approach to life stifles the spontaneous
bursts of creative expression and disregards the gifts of inner peace
and joy that constitute the very core of our soul. Healthy stress is a
natural part of life, for it offers us beneficial challenges to grow and
develop as individuals. However, in the modern education system,
where the demands consistently outpace our ability to cope with
them, healthy stress is frequently displaced by toxic stress.
As essential as it is to seek the success of the outer world, it is also
necessary to look inward in order to discover the reservoir that carries
the greatest source of peace and happiness. We must slow down the
pace of our hectic lives, and embrace the spirit of mindfulness, for it
not only restores a sense of calm and tranquility, but also counteracts
stress and anxiety, improving our self-esteem and self-regulation,
and in the process, the very quality of our life.
Best WishesMrs. Anjali Kotnala

These words by Abraham Lincoln aptly describe the responsibility all educationists shoulder to shape the future of their students.
The word motivation originates from the Latin word 'movere'-which
means 'to move'.Manouvering a child's efforts in the direction of
excellence is imperative. In order to enable them to meet the
challenges of globalised society it is needed to have a self-disciplined
life style that would lay foundation for persistence, commitment and
consistency in academic pursuits. The pivot ingredient for students'
success lies in using their energy in a constructive way and enable
them to aim higher by seizing the opportunities that come their way.
For this they need to focus on three Es of education –excellence, ethics
and engagement. So many of us have heroes, leaders, artists or
entrepreneurs that inspire us. People who have made an impact,
people who have shown us a better way, people who have overcome
outrageous odds. They all possess vision, dream and goal which is
invisible to all the world except the person holding it, is responsible
for perhaps every great advance and achievement of humankind. It's
been said that what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
E. Paul Torrance wrote a famous piece called “The Importance of
Falling in Love With 'Something,'” in which he tells young people:
Follow the path that most calls to you, resist the pressures of others,
celebrate and enjoy your greatest strengths. Success doesn't lie in the
achievement of a goal, although that's what the world considers
success; it lies in the journey towards the goal. We're successful as
long as we're working towards something we want to bring about in
our lives. That's what Cervantes meant when he wrote, “The road is
better than the inn.” We're at our best when we're climbing, thinking,
planning, working. Dear Rukminians always remember the words as
Barack Obama aptly puts it ,“Keep exploring. Keep dreaming. Keep
asking why. Don't settle for what you already know. Never stop
believing in the power of your ideas, your imagination, your hard
work to change the world.”
Best Wishes

Another excellent academic session takes a bow, and it is now time to beckon the merry winds of the next session and
discover the rich harvest it has in store for us. Welcome to the beginning of another eventful academic year 2018-19! Our
hearts fill with joy and pride when we reminisce all our glorious triumphs and accomplishments in the past six months,
and in spirit of the tradition that the Rukminians have set for their successors, gladly expect ourselves to be inundated by
another colossal gift of success. The passion, grit and the indomitable spirit that defines
the personalities of all Rukminians will surely fuel their desires and ambitions and
encourage them to undertake the fiercest academic and co-curricular adventures. Our
biannual 'Reflections' is a proud testimony to our students' flourishing success. As we
unveil a new edition of the school newsletter, we proudly congratulate all our pupils who
have demonstrated an outstanding performance and kept the school's tradition of
rewriting success alive by scaling newer heights.
Some of my fondest memories as a young school boy involve eagerly waiting for the latest issue of 'Reflections', flipping through its pages excitedly once it arrived, cheering for the triumphs of my schoolmates, and reminiscing all the wonderful events that were organized in the school. For, 'Reflections' is much more than the biannual newsletter of our school. Every inch of the newsletter throbs with the rhythm of activities that celebrate the diversity of talents, pursuits and interests that champion the creative momentum of the school. We are fortunate to remain in close proximity to a vast multitude of opportunities, both at national and international forums, thanks to the numerous initiatives taken by the school to flourish their numbers. 'Reflections' is a powerful reminder of rich fruits gifted to us when we work tirelessly with these opportunities to fine-tune and enhance our cognitive, physical and aesthetic potentials.
Shivam KotnalaXII C
David Brinkley pertinently quoted,” A successful man is one
who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have
thrown at him.” These words precisely reflect the strength of
dedication and commitment in our lives. We humans are god-
gifted because we are able to comprehend things from a very
early stage and our school has provided its
with a plethora of opportunities. 'Reflections',
the biannual newsletter of RDPS is a
testimony to the hard work of the students.
The newsletter not only appreciates the
achievements of our Rukminians, but also
motivates young neophytes to set prodigious
milestones and acts as a stunning repository of
their creative endeavours.
Success is no accident. It is perseverance, learning, studying, sacrificing and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.The child is a born researcher and it's the school that expands the capacities and makes the child passionate to grasp more knowledge. Same happens here, RDPS offers the students diverse range of opportunities to nurture and articulate their skills. It provides a platform to showcase our capabilities and stand out different from the throng because of our personality. RDPS also provides an opportunity to the students to share their achievements in REFLECTIONS, the bi-annual school newsletter. Flipping through its pages, makes us proud and inspires us to add to its glory by bringing more laurels. It's a subject of prestige to be part of such an esteemed educational institution that believes education is not just about going to school and getting a degree, it's about widening our knowledge and absorbing the truth of life.

Learning Beyond Classrooms
The old school model of passively learning facts and reciting them out of context is no longer sufficient to prepare student's to survive in today's world. It is essential for students to learn skills such as team work, problem solving, research gathering, t ime management, information synthesizing, utilizing digital tools. Annual IT Project is extra co-curricular program for young Rukminians which walks in alignment with the 21st century skill requirement. It is three year journey from class V to VII to make students independent learners and of their learning process.Annual IT Project is mandatory for all students from class V to VII. Under its umbrella student's take up projects in group of four and compete the project in two phases. First, the students collect data from books, magazines, internet, encyclopedias, newspaper and
journals. They then analyze their findings and present their work in pdf or digital flipbook, and finally present their work before their peers and teachers using aids like PowerPoint presentation, charts, models and small skits. Students are thus sensitized about cyber security and correct and efficient use of internet. They are also equipped with skills to working in digital environment using Google drive, Google classroom. Students and teachers collaboratively work on “No paper policy”.During this session, all students came up with innovative ideas that they presented before their peers and demonstrated their potential as future leaders and independent learners. Students who raised the bar and became exemplary performers of year 2018-19 are:

Collaborative Projects at RDPS
Collaboration is just like any other skill and is one of the most
sought after in workplace and education. In light of the same
Collaborative project is an effort by Rukmini Devi Public School to
facilitate young Rukminians to collaborate with fears around the
globe. These projects helped students to think more deeply,
creatively and develop empathy for others perspectives.
Collaborative Projects are mandatory for all students of class VIII.
The Collaborative project is a combination of interactive based
and survey based project which gives students platform to reach
their peers across the globe through internet. Utilizing the digital
platform students can communicate with students across globe
and become responsible global citizen. These projects help
students to explore, understand and appreciate diverse cultures
and promote interdisciplinary curriculum.
Approximately 172 students of class VIII participated in
collaborative projects. They interacted with students all across the
globe such as Canada, Russia, UK, Netherlands, USA, etc. on
project topics such as sustainable development, My
Neighborhood, Food for Thought, Beauty in their part of the world
with the help of videos, Ppt. etc. The method of communication
was through online communication, VC session and survey based.
Videoconferencing helped students to communicate with their
feers face to face at different locations and provided them with a
global exposure. VC session with Russia on topic “ We the
teenagers and with UK on topic “ Sustainable Development” ,
helped students to understand culture and tradition of the
country. Also students came up with beautiful videos to share
with the country partners.
Collaborative projects focuses on developing analytical minds of
students. Survey projects such as ‘Down the Drain’ provided a
platform to students to churn their analytical skills by calculating
the average per day per person water usage and comparing the
same with the data available of various countries on the ciese
website.
Delicious and healthy food is necessary for young minds. Students
prepared creative videos and presentation on the food categories
such as Indian breads, local customs and celebration food. These
were shared with World Class Schools forum.
Students of class VIII explored the ten countries of UTN by
studying History and Geography, Art and Entertainment, Sports
and Leisure, social, political and current affairs. This was an
attempt to know detailed knowledge of their respective
countries. Also, students prepared a multiple choice question on
India, as per the difficulty level of UTN quiz.
Altogether, Collaborative Projects gave students the opportunity
to move out of their domain and explore new digital tools and
communicate with their peers applying what they have learnt in
different subject in integrated manner.

Shreya Mukhi (12.08.2001-16.04.2019)
Condolence MessageThe Rukminian family grieves the sad and untimely demise of Shreya Mukhi, student of class XII
session 2018-19. She was an extraordinary brilliant student imbibed with deep rooted moral values.
Her unfortunate and sudden departure is not only a great loss to the family members but also to the
school. May Almighty give rest and peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this
irreparable loss.

Student CornerStudent CornerStudent CornerLife for Nation
A sister crying for her brother
A son's body in front of his mother
Aren't they deserve a better life?
Where a husband has forever left his wife
Someone you don't know dies for the nation.
Their families' pain and fear… you have no clue.
Its easy to take out their flows
But those poor lives are full of loss.
They die for their nation
But they need to keep patience.
They for their nation's pride die
Their corpses in the battle ground lie
A father can only feel the pain of losing a son
An enemy shoots our soldier with a gun
But this one won't go on for a long run
In front of our bravery they wont' stand
We will unfurl our nation's flag on their land
We are proud of those mind's beauty
They chose to protect the nation as their duty.
Our nation's soldiers will never bow.
They will take revenge for their dead fellow
A terrorist attack kills many
But a single surgical strike won't let regrets any
The strength is what our beloved soldiers will
showcase
They will ruin their enemy from their base
If a soldier gives up his life in war
He doesn't regret but thinks he has opened the
heaven's door
He doesn't feel at all sad
But he requests for one thing to his dad
He requests his dad not to cry
Because he was happy to die.
They love their mother nation and so we should
do,
And plead to God to protect them.
'O God ! Please do'.
Perception is Man's Last Freedom"He who has a way to live can bear with almost any how" -
Friedrich Nietzsche
A person who has nothing to live for prefers death but
someone who has something to live for can endure almost
anything. The evidence of the quote can be extracted from
'Man's Search for Meaning' by Dr. Viktor Frankl. The book
offers an invaluable resource for the thoughtful seekers
searching for a way through adversity and answers to some
of life's most important questions.
Dr. Frankl from his experiences of the concentration camps
states that prisoners were handed like cattle, they starved and
were tortured. For them, morning became a horrible
nightmare and night a beautiful reality. Because it was only in
their dream that they would forget the reality of the camps.
The Nazi period is known as the most dreadful era in the
entire history, but still in such a dreadful situation where
there was abuse, disease, torture, famine and mental
suffering, people chose to live. Most of them were murdered
and some committed suicide but those who did not, I wonder
what stopped them from quitting ? The answer is that they
had a reason to live, a purpose that gave them hope to live.
Some were eagerly waiting to reunite with their family. These
prisoners devoted themselves to something they consider is
greater than themselves and this motivated them to live.
Viktor Frankl said that , "Everything can be taken from a man
but one thing, the last of human freedoms to choose one's
attitude in any given set of circumstances ,to choose one's
own way." Where we are not able to change the situation we
are forced to change ourselves. It's only till the line we are
alive we have the potential to change, If not the situation, then
our attitude. If those prisoner's could find a purpose to live for
in that dreadful era, then we can do it too. When we are
devoted to something greater than ourselves, we are satisfied
even in the most terrible situations.
"A life with a meaning is a life worth living."

Through the fort's edge I scoped A dusty sheath of smoke had my view blockedAll I could see were the birds that flocked After a second or two I saw them beating their drums and on their horses they galloped We were heavily outnumbered more than we could've fathomed. The crowd boomed...With fury in their eyes they fumedAnd post the Conch they resumedThe victory was theirs they had assumedWe knew to die in this battle were we doomedYet in our hearts a seed of hope still bloomed...I fastened myself and into the messaging station I turned...The weather was beautiful, the golden sky and the
golden sound was tunedScattered winds blew...In the sky the birds flew. And soon we were reduced to a handful few...As the war grew,We became few, fewer and few.And than it was just me among those few...As those steps thundered, those ominous winds blew...And with my hands I wrote this letter before from the fort's edge it flew.

On

The Power of ReadingThe Power of ReadingThe Power of ReadingWhen was the last time you read a book, or a substantial magazine article? Do your
daily routine reading habits center around tweets or Facebook or messenger
updates? If you're one of the countless students who don't make a habit of reading
regularly, you might be missing out on a vital component of our culture. Reading
has a significant number of benefits. The Great English Poet Milton rightly says,
“A good book is the precious life blood of a master spirit embalmed and treasured
up on purpose to a life beyond life.”
Of all the skills that need to be acquired by a child in the basics of school learning,
perhaps the most important and the one that has far-reaching implications for
future progress is the skill of reading. According to National Institute of Child
Health and Human Development (NICHD), 2000 it is stated that the skill of
reading lays the foundation for future success at school and is the most important skill that needs to be mastered in education. The ability
to read well is essential to function in today's world as it stimulates the human mind and develops the imagination and the ability to learn
new things. Reading has at all times and in all ages been a great source of knowledge. Today the
ability to read is highly valued and very significant for the holistic development of a child. In today's
world, importance of reading has increased as learners' have so much more to know and to learn
and also the need for a cognizant effort to surmount the divisive forces. We are
the dwellers of a speedily advancing world where internet is taking over
everything. To keep the pace and flow, one should also need to do things that
benefit us. When we read a book, one has to remember an assortment of
characters, their backgrounds, ambitions, history, and nuances, as well as the
various arcs and plots that weave their way through every story. That's a fair
bit to remember, but brains are marvelous organs and can remember these
things with relative ease. Reading is no doubt a stupendous habit and help
in memory improvement. It can make a dormant, barren mind rich and
cultivatable. It pours rich thoughts in minds and helps in bringing the best
out of someone. Reading broadens the vision. One should travel with books
as their companions and carry books for reading while travelling. Visit to
book fairs for creating one's own Home library has proven to be a great tool.
Despite various means of entertainment and recreation, books continue to enjoy
the prominent position. They have been the great source of pleasure since time
immemorial. Like the seeds of flowers, these means of pleasures go on
multiplying because they are produced by teeming minds, which have the potentiality to
revolutionize the society. No doubt the introduction of technology has caused a shift in interest and
preference, but the pleasures gained from reading have their own prominent and significant value. Hence, it cannot be substituted. It is a
perennial source of joy. So dear students, step away from your computer for a little while, open a book, and rejuvenate your soul for a
little while.
Happy reading!

We are ever so grateful to our wonderful teacher, parent and alumni communities for their
generous words of appreciations. We thank you for believing in us.
"To me, RDPS is much more than a school, it's an
institution that molds entire futures". The vast
learning experience at RDPS, and the plethora of
activities it offered has not only helped me
academically but has give me a better understanding
of myself and my capabilities. It has helped me realize
there lies a promise and possibility within me and I
have to reach out to give back to the society all that I
have taken from it.
Ms. Ragini Aggarwal (Alumni)
1. Exposure: The International Exchange programs
gives you an insight of new cultures and their
lifestyles. This really develops your personality.
2. Competitive Spirit: In our school, we had a lot of
competitions, both internal & external and the
school gave us a good opportunity to learn
something out of the box and showcase the same.
3. Creativity: The school has alot of activities and
functions which allows a student to explore his
talents. In my opinion, this is one of the most
important things as, we live in a society that is
taught from a young age to zero in on one way of
about each issue and topic. This squelches creative
ideas.
Mr. Tarun Goyal (Alumni)
I was shaped into a meticulous child who never
turned her back towards hardwork and
dedication. I have learnt to contribute my best
energies into every responsibility I have
undertaken.
Ms. Nitya Shukla (Alumni)
1. Confidence: Learning about new subjects and becoming
proficient in a skill helps one grow exponentially. The same
can be seen in my daily life, whether it being giving
presentations or delegation of authority.
2. Socialization: Humans are social animals and we need
people around us to survive. The whole school system has
taught me as a person how to bond better bonds with people
around me.
3. Teamwork: Through games and projects, and even
participation in after-school sports, one learns the importance
of forging relationships with each other. These activities also
help us to manage difficult personalities, find our way as
leaders, and better understand the way we work as
individuals.
4. Inspiration: I’ve found, as a businessman, that school has
not only helped me develop lifelong friendships, work
strategies, and career goals, but has also functioned as one of
my primary means of inspiration.
5. Community: A school functions as the center of a person’s
community and acts as a meeting place, a place for one to
grow, and a second home.
Mr. Piyush Kumar Goyal (Alumni)
For me RDPS was not just a school, it was a
tradition. RDPS has a culture that allows each
individual to figure out what they're best at, and
pursue it - no matter the odds. Be it drama, music,
debates, sports, writing, anchoring, academics or
what not, the school has given me ample
opportunities to explore, nurture and present my
talents. Last but not the least, thank you for
keeping an inspiring and brilliant faculty
throughout, which guided us every step of the way.
I'm grateful that you listened to the students' needs
and helped them unconditionally. I am indebted
with the love this school has bestowed upon me,
and would love to give back in any manner possible.
Mr. Anuj Kukreja (Alumni)
RDPS cultivated an academic environment in the classroom
by setting high, but not impossible, expectations for the
students. Pushed students to achieve higher standards which
in the end really helped me develop. The school also offered a
lot of co-curricular activities so that students can follow their
passion. It eventually helped me develop and realise that i
have a keen interest in computers. It always gave students its
required freedom. It communicated with its students
effectively which in turn helped gain confidence. RDPS
always encouraged students to come forward so that each
student can bloom.
Mr. Lakshay Bansal (Alumni)
1. Good Infrastructure.
2. Dedicated Staff.
3. Excellent quality of Education.
4. Professional/Cooperative Teachers who promotes
positive behaviour among students.
5. Extra Curricular Activities resulting in Overall

6. No unnecessary expenditures, kids are motivated
to use the available resources.
7. Very active management always ready to listen
and approachable with regular parenting classes
Mr. Dev Priya Gupta (F/o Ananya Gupta, III E)
Prepare students for challenges of the global
world....a world that requires the students to excel
in communication and inter-personal skills. The
faculty of the school makes sure that the students
are able to understand every concept thoroughly.
Not only academics but the physical activity of the
students is also taken care of. Inter and Intra school
activities helps in building the confidence of the
students.
Mr. Rakesh Gupta
(F/o Harshit Gupta X-C)
1. I got positive feedback regarding the school from my
colleagues and my patients.
2. Academic excellence track record of the school was good.
3. The school ambiance including the big playground and
science park ,which are vital for all round development of a
child were also a motivating factors for us.
4. At the time of admission of our ward , we prepared a list of
schools, where we had kept RDPS in our Category A school
based on various parameters.
5. The separate campus of RDBV and RDPS was also a positive
factor for us.

TESTIMONIALS FROM THE STAKEHOLDERS
RDPS is an institution where every parent’s dream gets
fulfilled. The school provides ample opportunities for
child’s growth. The teachers are competent and capable
in recognizing the talents of the students and polish
them. The school is well equipped with latest
technologies which are an add-on advantage in the
successful teaching- learning process.
Mr. Mahesh Kumar Gupta (F/o Kiana Garg I-D)
1. Apart from physics and chemistry laboratories it was
a surprise to see a Mathematics Lab as well.
2. Focus on extra-curricular activities including games,
singing, dramatics, inter-school competitions et
cetera leads to overall development of the child.
3. Specific groups for studying additional subjects such
as Robotics, Astronomy Club, English Olympiad et
cetera exposes the child to develop interest in
different fields.
4. Good environment for the student to study and
interact with teachers; caring Principal and
Coordinators make it easier to communicate not
only between the parents and the school, but also
for students for whom they are always accessible.
5. Neat & clean environment and well-maintained
school always gives a pleasant experience
whenever we visit.
Mr. Nilabh Sinha (F/o Janhavi Sinha, XII D)
RDPS has very good infrastructure. I like the
extra activity conducted by the school. For music,
dance and art they have separate evening classes
and fantastic infrastructure for it. They have very
good auditorium for live performances. Their
teachers are hard working and encourage their
students to perform well. PTM are held on a
regular basis- which gives parents and teachers
to interact over the performance of the students.
Mr. Subodh Choudhary
(F/o Saanvi Choudhary IV-E)
We found this school to be good at its teaching
methods. My son had also passed from this
school and has now become a successful
engineer in America. The reviews of this school
are good. Also RDPS is never at rest untill and
unless it achieves its goals. The teachers are
good and highly qualified.
Mr. Subhash Chander Garg
(F/o Anvi Garg VII -D)
RDPS practices a multi-dimensional curriculum model that
incorporates the benefits of ICT, CAT (Computer Aided
Teaching), CAL(Computer Aided Learning and
CAA(Computer Aided Assessment). It provides them various
avenues that empower them with the self-confidence to
achieve success. Students are given opportunities to develop
the attitudes, skills and knowledge to participate in a globally
connected world through collaborative projects with schools
abroad via exchange programs. The students of classes III to
IX attend a wide range of in-house clubs, an intergral
component of the co-scholastic endeavours of the school.
Ms. Ranjana Longjam (Assistant Teacher)
1. The school aims at high standards of learning
at all levels, whether pre-primary, primary,
middle or senior and the same is reflected in
the outstanding results produced by the
students in various examinations.
2. The team of multi-faceted and competent
teaching staff makes the school a place
where the students gain not only knowledge,
but also wisdom and morals alike.
3. The world class infrastructure provided in the
school campus allows students to come to
terms with the national and international
dimensions in the curriculum.
Mr. Lalit Sharma (PGT Mathematics)
1. The school considers education to be a life-long
process, and thus equips the students with the
intellectual and practical skills to face professional
hurdles and challenges. Every year, the school
achieves excellent results in classes XII and X. The
students also find remarkable placements in top
international and national institutes.
2. It houses well-equipped Biology, Physics, Chemistry,
Computer and Math laboratories. Keeping pace with
the technological advancements, the school also
operates a Eureka 3D Lab, Clicker Lab and Language
Lab.
3. Another special characteristic of the school is its
appreciation of the worth of the each student through
its Mentor mentee program in which the teachers
facilitate activities that enhance the core skills of the
students.
4. It also hosts numerous international multicultural
exchange programmes that allow the students to
participate in memorable cultural encounters.
5. Each faculty member is both a teacher and a scholar.
The faculty of RDPS consists of highly qualified
teachers, who have extensive teaching experience in
their respective fields.
Ms. Neeru Arora (TGT - Mathematics)
As a member of RDPS since October 2000, I have had the fortune of being an integral witness to its multi-dimensional
growth, especially pedagogic and infrastructural, over the years. The key to its growth is its vibrant, well-trained and
phenomenally experienced teaching faculty that empowers the students to evolve as responsible citizens of tomorrow
by helping them build farsightedness to adapt to the changing circumstances. The school management leaves no
stone unturned to uphold and fuel the superior standards that have, for years, defined the reputation of the institution.
Their meticulously organized plans of action are complemented by a modern and a very competitive set of
infrastructures that create a niche for the school in the city. Discipline and security of children are the core mottos of the
school. Children are imparted with values which help them to build a democratic and comprehensive personality. The
school always stands committed to the faith and goodwill that the parents have placed on it. Over the years, the school
has achieved glorious feats in both scholastic and co-scholastic fields. It gives us an immense sense of joy and pride.
Mr. N.K. Jena (PGT Political Science)
The school is highly reputed and recommended for
preparing students to fetch high scores in CBSE
examinations and in other Olympiads and talent search
examinations which boost student's confidence. It has
made a variety of facilities accessible to the students. Rapid
and continuous use of smart boards, 3-D classes, and
various computer labs and software have provided concept
clarity accompanied by better understanding and
application and focuses on overall development of the
students and not just academics. There are diverse
departments for co-curricular activities such as dancing,
singing, art and craft, drama, sports etc. The school's staff
members are also very approachable, understanding and
are highly qualified. Teachers rather than just sticking to the
curriculum and grades of their pupils also focus on
personality development. RDPS provide a global platform to
the students for either competing with institutions world
wide or working with them by various programs like
collaboration projects, time project, snail mail, foreign
exchange. Also the school doesn't restrict students to
classrooms but also put emphasis on outdoor learning by
educational visits to museums, monuments, research
centres and much more.
