simon benham senior pastor

Hello and welcome to the12th edition of our Life inKerith (LinK) magazine.

Our church has a history ofgrowth: more people of allages coming to our meetingson a Sunday; more nationsrepresented by the people inour church community; moreinitiatives which serve thelocal community; and morecountries where we'repartnering with otherchurches and organisations.

Growth is great, but just as Ifound when my children wereyoung and they seemed toneed new shoes every sixmonths, growth needs roomto expand if it’s to continue.

This is one of the reasonswhy in September, we'restarting a new site inSandhurst - to give us spaceto grow in both the Bracknelland Sandhurst areas.

In this issue you'll read allabout our new site, as well ashear what God is doing in thelives of a whole host ofpeople in our community.I hope you find it interesting.

Simon.

Welcome to the 12th edition of linK.

When I was a child I was always fascinated bybonsai trees - the ones where you take a treeseed, such as an acorn, and put it in a tiny pot sothat what grows is not a majestic oak tree, but aperfectly formed miniature oak tree instead. Thesize of the pot determines the size of the tree.

One of the things God has been teaching us isthat the same principle applies to churches - if achurch wants to reach its full potential then itneeds to keep making space or the growth willbe stunted.

That was what we did as a church, when wemoved from our original town centre location toour current site in 1964. We have done it manytimes since: building the Kerith Centre in 1989;K2 in 1999; going to three meetings on a Sundayin 2010; and moving all the staff off-site to makemore space for children's work, at the start ofthis year.

each time we've made space, God has filled itand that's what we're going to do again with ournew site in Sandhurst - make space to grow inboth locations.

Making space is part of our history and willalways be part of our future

If you're not currently part of Kerith, then knowthat we've made space for you to come. There isspace on a Sunday, space in our small groups andspace on our courses. you can then become partof the adventure - creating space for the next setof people wanting to join us.

Ben and Heather, please tell us somethingabout yourselves….

We have been married for two years and live inBracknell. I (Ben) grew up in Kerith andHeather has been coming for 7 years. We are both on the the staff team here atKerith - Ben heads up Kerith Academy and I(Heather) work with the Operations andCreative Teams.

You are going to be heading up the new sitein Sandhurst. What is your vision for thisnew venture? The vision for Sandhurst and Bracknell are thesame - one church, one vision - to love Godand love people. Above all we want to impactmore people through our Sunday meetings andSocial Justice Projects, but we also want tomake it easier for those who live in the area toinvite people to a local church. We aim to bring together the best aspects of‘big church’ such as quality meetings and avariety of ministries, with the best bits of‘small church’ including deep community. Therewill also be more opportunities for volunteersto get trained up and grow in areas that they’reinterested in but ultimately, we’re passionateabout sharing the gospel and showing the loveand grace that Jesus offers, to as many peopleas we can.

Can you explain a little about what isactually going to happen in September? We will launch on Sunday 15th September at10am in Sandhurst School and the format willbe exactly the same as our meetings inBracknell, including the same message. Wewill worship, hear vision for what’s ahead inthe Reveal video and provide kids church forthe under 14’s. Other ministry areas and mid-week activities will begin to start in Septemberand will grow as we do. We have exciting plansfor a CAP centre, life groups and social justiceoutreach happening very soon!

How are you feeling about overseeing thenew site?excited and a little daunted! At Kerith we havenever done multi-site church before so we’restepping into the unknown but we’ve got agreat team who are committed to Sandhurstand are deeply passionate about the new site.

Lydia has an inspiring vision for thechildren, sparked from Psalm 1:3….“Mydream is that they would be little trees, planted by the brook named Kerith, reaching out roots into life-giving waterand drawing on Jesus. Never witheringand not dropping leaves, but bearing fruitin every season”.

In keeping with Lydia’s vision, someexciting changes have beenimplemented….

The 9-11s have now got their own space, especially created for this in-between agegroup to explore Jesus in fresh, diverseways.

The comfy beanbags and snacks haveproved especially popular! In this smallgroup setting they are encouraged to buildfriendships and really be themselves.

They also take part in worship with theadults. “epic!”, I believe was the quotefrom the official spokesman, aged eleven.

They are like trees planted along theriverbank, bearing fruit each seasonwithout fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.

one rainy thursdaymorning, ruth povey hadthe pleasure of chattingwith lydia harris-lane,Kerith’s children’s pastor, whose passion for kidswork is utterly contagious.lydia explains, “childrenare like little sponges - allthat they soak up in theirformative years will staywith them throughout theirlives. it’s so important thatthey’re soaking up Jesusand stories from the bibleto carry them.”

under 2s 3s 4s 5-7 7-9 9-112s

In addition to all of this, there has been a re-branding of the groups. This fluid theme now runs right through from 0-11s, on both theBracknell and Sandhurst sites. All gathered under the umbrella term,Kerith Kids, the new names are as follows:

Psalm 1:3

One of the major changes we are introducing is an electronic registrationprocess. A unique bar-coded card will be given to all parents; oncescanned, an individual sticker for their child will be produced. This shouldmake it so much easier for parents to sign in and pick up their child on aSunday morning.

Page 9: Link12 artwork

We’d love you to get involved in making all this happen! There are various serving opportunities available, includingteam teachers and helpers – but we’re also looking for helpwith the practical side of Sundays, such as welcoming andsetting up rooms. Or maybe you’d like to get involved morecreatively, with worship, dance workshops, puppets ordrama sketches? Whether exploring outdoors or gettingcreative with craft, the children are thriving and growing.Look out for Messy Church too!

Page 11: Link12 artwork

I grew up at yeldall, living there between the ages of 5 and 18. MyDad was the Director then and for a while we lived in the mainhouse and then later in a lodge on the estate. We used to eat ourmeals together with the residents and in the holidays I used tohelp out with some of the work on the estate. I loved living there, Ihad a great childhood.

so andy, What’s your history With yeldall? When you left home andyeldall, What did you do?At the age of 18, I spent a yearwith youth With A Mission(yWAM) and then I did a Degreein Theology at the LondonSchool of Theology (LST).I met my wife Mickey whilst Iwas studying at yWAM and shewas studying nursing at King’sCollege, London. Aftergraduating, I spent a yearworking in Parliament as aresearcher for an MP. We weremarried in 2000 and we spent ayear with yWAM, helping to leaddiscipleship training schools. Ithen returned to LST for afurther 3 years, finishing asDirector of Training. During thatperiod we had our first twochildren - Daniel who is now 11and Jemimah who is 7.

the next step Was quite abig change for you both,Where did you feel god Wasleading you?I really enjoyed my time at LSTbut we felt God was calling usto grow in our own practicalexperience, both in terms oflocal church leadership andoverseas missions. We didn’tsee how these two things couldgo together but in the space ofa few months I met two guyswho had applied for jobs inenglish-speaking churchesoverseas. That led me to look atthe Christianity Today website tosee if there were any churchesin developing nations looking fora Pastor. I immediately saw anadvert for an InternationalChurch in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Iapplied for the position and wemoved to Bolivia in August2006. Bolivia was an amazing

time of growth for us! I got thechance to develop my preachingand leadership skills and to growin my understanding of cross-cultural mission anddevelopment issues. Duringthis time we also grew as afamily, with Phoebe (who is now5) and JJ (who is 4) joining us!

hoW is that churchcommunity in santa cruzdoing noW?Really well. It typically serves amixture of missionaries - expatbusiness people and englishspeaking locals, particularlystudents. While we were therewe introduced simultaneoustranslation to Spanish and, as aresult, saw an increase inSpanish-speaking localsbecoming a part of the church.

so after a 13 year absenceyou find yourself bacK atyeldall, What is that liKe?It’s great to be here! It is achallenging time to be offeringservices in the area ofrehabilitation, with evershrinking budgets in localauthorities. But we have a greatreputation, a good success rateand are managing to attractreferrals from across the uK.yeldall is about change, not justthe external changes thatrecovery can bring, but apermanent change from theinside brought about by anencounter with Jesus Christ.

as the current director ofyeldall, hoW do you see thelinKs With Kerith? The residents and staff at yeldallManor are regularly part ofKerith on Sundays. The program

introduces the men to a varietyof church environments, allowing them to experiencedifferent styles of worship andteaching. Kerith is one of thechurches regularly visited and isa really popular choice withresidents. Some have gone onto make it their home churchafter finishing at yeldall.

hoW have the linKsdeveloped?Links with Kerith grow naturallyand relationally. As a family weare part of the community and Iam involved with Alpha. About adozen residents at yeldall haveattended the Alpha Course andit has been really positive forthem. Kerith people have also joined inwith fundraising events; that’sreally important for the ongoingwork at yeldall. After finishing at yeldall, GarySkull became part of the staff atKerith. One of his jobs was tofind a contractor to maintain thegrounds at Kerith. As part oftheir rehabilitation, the men atyeldall work to maintain thesubstantial grounds on site, whilst learning the necessaryskills along the way. yeldall nowfulfills the maintenance contractat Kerith.

hoW do you see the future? My desire is to always stayopen to God’s leading – both forus as a family and for yeldall. If Iever feel uncertain, I rememberIsaiah 9:6 ‘and the governmentwill be on his shoulders.’ Jesusleads and my job is to lead asthe first follower.

Could you tell us a bit about your background? I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. I hated school and left at13, started working and started drinking. When I was 16 I startedtaking drugs too. I was moving from job to job and I always wantedto better myself, but it was the money I was after to fund mydrinking and drugs. I moved to england with my partner for a freshstart, but it never happened. I had a selfish, chaotic and destructivelifestyle and ended up in prison. It was there that I decided lifeneeded to change. When I was released from prison I moved toyeldall Manor.

What was your first Sunday at Kerith Community Church like? I thought I was coming to rehab, not church! We were driven to adifferent church every Sunday and after my first experience ofKerith, I absolutely hated it - it looked like ‘sober people doingkaraoke’! But I came back a second time and signed up for theAlpha course.

How did you feel when youfirst encountered Jesus? People were encouraging meto commit myself to Jesus, but I like to know all the factsbefore making a decision. One morning I was awakeearly, having been challengedthat weekend by a friendabout making a final decision.Looking out of the window Isaw white writing fading intoblue sky: ‘I’m waiting for you’.I heard it as well. The next Sunday, before the speaker had finishedasking people to respond if they wanted to become a Christian, Iput my hand straight up!

How has being a part of Kerith and knowing Jesus changedyour life? Kerith is a family; there’s always someone to talk to, encourageyou and to get advice from. I’ve forgiven everyone I needed to. I’mvery grateful for the environment I’m in, the people I’m around andhaving God in my life. I want to use my past for my future - I’vebeen in lots of difficult situations and I want to help people whoare struggling. If I can stop drinking, anyone can!

Do you have a favourite Bible verse? I have a few, but one is Joel 2 verse 25 - “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten”.

Ray’s story is a perfect example of the wayGod has used the partnership between Yeldalland Kerith to redeem a life, placing a youngman in a church community to encourage andchallenge him.Matt Cooper met with Ray....

I will repay youfor the years thelocusts haveeaten.

Bracknell to

This vision has captured the hearts of many within theKerith community. One such person is Ralph Hazell. Thisis his story:

This spring I joined Howard and Elizabeth Reece-Smithof the Kerith Community, and their friends Douglas andCarol Aspinall, on a 2,300 mile cycle ride (at about 100miles a day), from Bracknell to Istanbul.

I thought the first day went reasonably well, consideringour pacemaker set an impossible pace towardsPortsmouth, my chain came off, and the others got lostwhen Elizabeth’s tyre punctured. And all of this in athunder storm! On our second day (our first in France), we all got lost.Often! I fell off and hurt my knee, Howard’s gears brokeand Elizabeth suffered yet another puncture. This, we realised was always going to be a gritty monthof extreme endurance, well beyond anyone’s comfortzone. But it was also such unplannable fun…

I’ll long chuckle at that ‘Victor Meldrew’ moment in theYMCA dorm in Basle when a late arrival began to wakeus up one by one as he tried to find his allocated bunk.Someone finished the job by hissing loudly at him‘there’s a bed over there by the window, you’re wakingeveryone up, go and lie on it, you’re just so ridiculous’!

And then there was that moment in Serbia when a straydog prepared to leap out at me, but instead leaptbackwards into the ditch in shock when I blew myearthquake whistle at it! The best bit was that the dietwent out of the window - we got to eat what we likedand we drank endlessly in that heat!

Yes, we cranked all the way to Istanbul, and in doing so raised some much needed funds to kit out the 100-bed dormitory. At present we've raised over£12,500! Thank you for your support.

If you’d like to hear more tales from these intrepidcyclists, take a look at Ralph’s blog:http://ralphoncycling.wordpress.com

Over the last 5 years, Kerith hasbeen supporting a small townin Zambia called Serenje. One of the specific projects weare funding is the building of adormitory for the girls whoattend the local secondaryschool. At present, these girlslive on their own in poorconditions in the town wherethey are vulnerable to attack.Few complete their education, ending up back home withunwanted pregnancies orinfected with HIV. The dormitory will be a safeplace for them to stay, enablingthem to finish their studies andfulfil their dreams.

Duncan: We first became part of Kerith (then Bracknell Baptist Church) some 25 yearsago. As a young married couple, we were keen to find a church to belong to.

Sharon: It wasn’t long before we got ‘stuck in’ running the youth work (with Simon andCatrina Benham as our deputy leaders!) and since then:leading a Life Group; working in kids work; the WorshipTeam; Tech Team; the Parenting Course; and mostrecently, Alpha.

Duncan: We have been members of many different LifeGroups throughout our 25 years as part of Kerith. Whenour children were very young, we led a group of our ownfor a while and then after a break, took it back up.

Sharon: Many of the serving groups we have beeninvolved in have also been community based - werecognise that this is a need for people in a large church.

Sharon: We currently serve on the ‘New to Kerith’stand on Sundays at the Bracknell site; it’s here that weoften meet people hungry for a place to call ‘home’.One of the things we are both passionate about isseeing people’s lives enriched by being part of acommunity; we love helping people to find a group that will suit their needs.

Duncan: When we were asked to take on this role - overseeing not only Life Groups butall Small Groups - we saw it as a great opportunity to support and develop communityalready active in the church. It’s difficult to survive as a Christian without having asupport network of good people who are looking out for you. We see it as a vital part ofbeing a Christian.

Duncan: We will be a support for all Small Group leaders – there for people to come toif they need us. We will give direction when required and will be encouraging leaders totry something new in their groups!

Sharon: yes we will. We have recently run a course for new Life Group leaders and havesix new groups in Lightwater, Bracknell, Sandhurst, Maidenhead and Binfield.

smallAt Kerith Community Church, we arepassionate about community. What iscommunity? It’s a place where peoplefeel they belong, are able to be honestand real with one another and find

the support they need to do lifewell. Duncan and Sharon Klitgaard haverecently taken on the role of leadingKerith’s Small Group community.Suzanne Whitton met with them both,to find out more about their new role….

How long have you been partof Kerith Community Church?

Talk us through your historyof Small Groups over theyears…

What’s led you to this point ofleading the Small Groupcommunity at Kerith?

What will your role look like?

Will you be overseeinggroups at Kerith Sandhurst aswell as Bracknell?

What’s your vision for thefuture of Small Groups atKerith?

Duncan: Traditionally, Small Groups have been a‘one size fits all’ model. We recognise that this isno longer flexible enough – a traditional Life Groupmight be for some people, but not everyone.Whatever the format, there will always be onecommon denominator – God is at the centre and aspiritual element is essential. ultimately we wantpeople to grow and to develop a deeperrelationship with Jesus.

Sharon: We want people to get the most out ofthe kind of group they feel comfortable with – thismight even be a course. A Small Group is a placefor people to feel a part of something, included, anenhancement to their church life experience. www.kerith.co.uk 15

link12 artwork_Layout 1 05/09/2013 20:33 Page 15

Page 16: Link12 artwork

However, we are separated from God by sin

(rejecting God and going our own way) and the

only way to fix this broken relationship is to live a

sin-free life, which none of us can do.

God has made a way for us to get back to this

relationship by sending his son, Jesus, both fully

man and fully God. Jesus lived the perfect life we

could never live, and then died on the cross,

paying the penalty for our sin and making a way

for us to be forgiven.

Now we can step back into a relationship with this

God of love....

1. Accept that you’ve messed up, that you’ve

sinned and you need a saviour.

2. Believe that Jesus was who He said He was, that

He died for your sin and that God now freely

offers you His forgiveness as a gift.

3. Choose to follow Jesus, making Him Lord of

your life.

Here’s a prayer you could say to God if you want

to become a Christian now:

Lord Jesus, I’m sorry I’ve gone my own way and not

yours. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. I want

to put you first in my life and I choose to follow you.

Amen

liam parKer, Kerith’s youth pastor said:

in the spring term of2013, our hugelyentrepreneurial youthgroup, life, embarkedon a major newventure - to explainthe gospel message toall the young people ofbracknell!

The LIfe team worked the campaignaround their genius strapline: ‘Gossip theGospel’. Their strategy was to film 3personal stories from LIfe members andrelease them on you Tube, over 3consecutive weeks. The publicity would becentred around the image of the youngperson for that particular week, with QRcodes on the postcards and loads of viralmarketing sending the recipient straight tothe you Tube site hosting the short video.

The tag line, ‘This is our story - what’syours?’, expressed the excitement that LIfemembers have for sharing their faith withthose around them; and invited some greatand challenging conversations with friends, families and even teaching staff at theirschools!

Dan, aged 15: “The first day back at schoolafter my video was released, it turned outthat all my friends had seen it! It was a greatopportunity to chat through some of whatthey had heard, with the normal banterthrown in as expected!”.

Amazingly the videos began to be shown in anumber of Bracknell schools. Dan even foundthat it was being shown in his Re lesson!

So many conversations and questions havebeen sparked by the initiative to 'Gossip theGospel'. for a demographic that often getsbranded as being without conviction orresolve, the young people at LIfe areshowing us that this is far from the truth!

"Gossiping the Gospel of Jesus is the primarycall of all Christians. I challenge every one ofus, if we have a faith, to follow the exampleof our young people and be willing to shareour story of how God has made a differencein our lives.”

"At LIfe the aim is for the young people to haveconfidence to pass on the story of Jesus in themost loving and authentic way possible. Overthis year we have taken our mission to lovepeople with practical help and greatconversations to local high streets, old people'shomes, halfway houses, schools and more!”

The LIfe team filmed Jess, Alice and Dan asthey shared their story of God breaking intotheir lives and uploaded the videos onto varioussocial media sites.

Alice, aged 15: "Although it was very strange towatch myself on video, I have found 'Gossip theGospel' really fun and it has helped me be moreopen with people about my faith, as well ashearing other people's stories."

Jess, aged 17: "I think that 'Gossip the Gospel'is such a good way to talk about faith and itsimpact in a really chilled way, especially forpeople who haven't ever experienced churchbefore. It has been so fun to see all the positiveresponses. I just really want more people to getexcited about the impact it's having howeversmall or big it is." Liam Parker, youth Pastor

Suzanne Whitton asked Gary to tell us a bit about himself…..

“I bought my first toy shop back in 1981, a decision made off the back of gettingthe sack from my previous job! The store was located in Amersham,Buckinghamshire and at the time, wasn’t thriving. Over the last 32 years, wehave not only made a success of the Amersham site but opened a total of 84stores across the uK, our latest one being in Glasgow.for many years, I had no interest in attending church or finding out what mywife’s faith was all about – school Re lessons had convinced me that Christianitywas part of history and not for the present day. It was in 1991, when my wifefinally managed to drag me along to a church event that I gave my life to Christ.from that day, things began to change. for the first 10 years of my business life, I had run my stores with little regard forothers or moral values. As soon as I became a Christian, I knew that certainthings about my business would need careful consideration: honesty; productranges; and Sunday trading. The changes I put in place made no business sense at all, particularly in aneconomic climate such as this. People scoffed, wondering why we would choosenot to open on one of the busiest days of the week and why some of the mostpopular products didn’t appear on our shelves. In reality, our business continuesto thrive which is sadly not the case for many other popular retail chains.”

Come along to hear more of Gary’s story: from his life as a hard-working lad witha paper-round, to the reason why he got the sack from that job! It promises to bea very ‘entertaining’ evening.

“Since finding out that Ruby has additional needs, the thing I have been mostworried about is that Ruby is accepted for who she is; that she is safe andsupported to achieve all that she can”.Michelle looked around for support groups and came along to Konnections - thefriday morning special needs respite and support group run at Kerith. Sheimmediately felt at ease…

Michelle and herdaughter Ruby havebeen coming along toKerith for about sixmonths. Karen Mehtaspent some timelistening to their story….

If you’d like to find out more about what goes on at Konnections, please visit the special needs section of our website at www.kerith.co.uk/social-justiceeveryone is welcome!

Michelle had experienced greatdifficulty in finding the rightnursery school for Ruby; in factshe had tried three differentschools before she was happythat the right care would beprovided. As the time to find asuitable primary school drewnearer, Michelle knew that sheneeded to make some bigdecisions: “Ruby’s additional needs werebecoming more apparent as shegot older, I was sure that sheneeded a special school…..it’sreally hard to explain, but I’mher Mum and I just knew shewouldn’t cope in the localprimary school - she neededmuch more help than that.”Michelle turned to Konnectionsfor help with completing thenecessary paperwork… “I had been up since 2am, soworried that somehow I wouldlet Ruby down. Despite myappointment at Kerith being ona very busy day, with peoplecoming in and out for foodbank, funnily enough I felt quite calm.

We managed to do what weneeded to and the right peoplewere there to help”. Michelle and Ruby came alongto some of the Kerith easterevents and felt really at home. When an opportunity came in ameeting to make a commitmentto follow Jesus and become aChristian, Michelle felt it wassomething she wanted to do.They have both been comingalong to Kerith ever since.“Before having Ruby, I wantedto find a church to be part of,but couldn’t find the right place.By coming along toKonnections, I got to see all theother things that went on atKerith and just felt that it was asafe place for Ruby and a churchI could belong to.”As a next step, Michelle wouldlike to give thanks to God forRuby publicly, at one of theregular Thanksgiving meetingsat Kerith. “i love ruby so much and i just want tothank god for her and all he has donein this last year.”

“it was so great to see other mums just trying to do their bestlike me, all in the same situation. i met someone who had a sonwith the same condition as ruby - that was a first! everyonewas just so lovely.”

How did the idea of acoffee bar come about? Many adults with a learningdisability have becomeisolated as day centres anddaytime courses have closed.People need somewhere safeto meet and so when the ideaof a coffee bar came to us, wedecided to give it a go.

What makes it special? It's their coffee bar and wehelp them choose and enjoywhat they want to do. It'slovely to see them at the crafttable, colouring or doing ajigsaw with their carer. K2 hall has space around thetables for wheelchairs and wehave an accessible toilet pluseasy parking. We serve goodcoffee and great cakes. As they

pay for their Carers, the factthat they can get a drink and acake for £1.50 and free refillsmeans it's affordable.Gary, who's here today, comesnearly every week to the coffeebar with his carer; he lovesmusic - they all do. Several willbring CDs and they love todance in their wheelchairs. We always make time to talkand interact - if you do stop totalk, they understand and lovesome attention. As SundayHilltop only meets monthly, itis lovely to be able to buildrelationships weekly at thecoffee bar.

How many customers doyou get? About 20 each week; we’ve had40-50 different people visit

since we started. Some of thehomes use this as their placeto meet and everyone who hasvisited loves it!

I hear Hilltop's Sundaynumbers have gone upsince April? Yes, we were getting around40 but had 60 at the lastHilltop. Some were peoplewho used to come and somewere new.

So what's next?We want to involve youngeradults with a learning disabilitymore. And we will soon havelaptops that can be used forcustomers to gain computingexperience and to sort outtheir benefits with their Carers.

Hilltop is our group for adults withlearning disabilities and their Carers.Hilltop’s weekly coffee bar opened inApril and has proved an instant hit.Penny Lander dropped into the coffeebar one Thursday morning to chatwith Hilltop leader, Hazel White ...

The Hilltop Coffee Bar is open everyThursday in K2 from 10:00am to12:00pm, term time only. New volunteer staff are alwayswelcome - just go to www.kerith.co.uk/social-justicefor more information.

It’s a strange thing to write a book about living an extraordinary life. It can somehow have the power to make you feel anything but extraordinary. In fact on a very regular basis the question slithers through my mind ‘Who on earth am I to be talking about this this?’

But that, my friend, is entirely the point. Who am I? Who is anyone? Where does this niggle inside us to do something noteworthy come from? Were we created to drudge through lives with little regard for our dreams, our eternity or the people around us; or could it be the case that there is something greater planted in each one of us that pushes us on to live a life that matters, to be someone that makes a difference in the world? Is this in fact what God created us for?

This book is my journey into the discovery of 'extraordinary'; it is the shrugging off of the every-day in favour of something bolder. This book embraces the idea that every person has dreams and desires planted in their heart, and that these dreams can be and should be fulfilled.

We only get one life, let's make sure we make it an extraordinary one.
