1. CHARACTERISTICS
The ZBB opening restrictor is an element enabling safe limiting the tilt angel of a window. Thanks tothe application of the restrictor installed according to the installation manual, it is possible to leave thewindow ajar tilted by approximately 10cm (depending on a window type and size). The ZBB restrictorwhen installed is invisible and does not hinder window operating.

The ZBB restrictor does not require additional installation tools.
FUNCTIONALITY
limiting tilt angle of a window, thanks to the application of a magnet, elements of the ZBB restrictor mounted on
the sash are invisible when the window if fully open, ease of operating – locked restrictor can be easily unlocked with the use of a key
which comes as standard. It is also possible to unlock it using for example a flat-head screwdriver.

3. COMPATIBILITY WITH ROOF WINDOWS
The ZBB restrictor is intended for wooden FAKRO windows in pivot e.g. FTP-V, FTS, FTS-V, FTTThermo, FYP-V as well as top hung and pivot versions e.g. FPP-V preSelect, FEL and FHP-VautoSelect.
CAUTION:The following widows cannot be fitted with restrictors:
windows with old metal cladding (version 2005) due to slats in the lower section of the sash, FKP top hung windows, aluminium-clad plastic windows.
4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Stock quantities are maintained in Nowy Sacz.
5. STRUCTURE
Metal elements installed onto the sash are silver (white galvanized), plastic elements installed on theframe are in RAL7044.

6. INSTALLATION
Restrictors can be installed individually by customers, following the installation manual attached toevery box. Each installation set includes a flat drill, necessary for installing the restrictor and a key forunlocking it.

The ZBB restrictor comes with a 2-year warranty.
9. CERRTIFICATION
The ZBB restrictor belongs to the group of additional accessories which are not covered by any EUregulations and do not require issuance of declaration of conformity.

10. FAQ
1. Does the ZBB opening restrictor is compatible with all versions of FAKRO roof windows?The ZBB opening restrictor is intended to be used with the current versions of FAKRO roof windows.The compatibility of the ZBB with old roof window versions should be checked each time based on thewindow data plate.
2. Is it possible to fix the key to a window permanently so that it is easy to find in an emergency?When the key is not used, it is possible to insert into the bolt plug (fig.5).
