WSDOT / AGC / ACEC-WA sub-committee team consisting of approximately 25 members (+\-)
•WSDOT is represented by State Construction Office, State Design Office, State Materials Lab, NWR, OR, SR 520 Program, I-405 Program, AWV Program and FHWA
•AGC is currently represented by Max J. Kuney Co., Kiewit, Atkinson, Granite, PCL, Flatiron, and Graham.
•ACEC is currently represented by Buckland & Taylor, Parsons, AECOM, Rohila Consulting Services, and GeoEngineers.

• Vision - A nationally recognized Design-Build Program that consistently delivers quality projects through positive coordination with Design-Builders, executed through competitive contracts that appropriately allocate risk, promote innovation and collaboration that ultimately benefits the citizens of Washington.
• Mission - Founded on strong WSDOT and Design-Builder relationships, further develop and maintain WSDOT’s Design-Build Program based on the values of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement that result in industry best practices.
• Purpose - To serve as a resource for establishing Design-Build policy, procedures and process improvement.

• Meet approximately every six weeks
• Provide specific expertise to support Design-Build project delivery
• Review, comment and collectively discuss high priority RFP sections focused on establishing consistency and appropriate risk allocation.
• Discus specific Design-Build related topics as they relate to project delivery.
2014-15 Accomplishments • Established the Team’s Charter and 2015 Goals
• Focus on standardizing RFP documents including the ITP, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 RFP documents
• Established Document Review procedures and have reviewed 4 of 12 RFP Sections
• Supported the development of WSDOT’s report on Small Design-Build Pilot Projects
• Represented Washington at the 2015 DBIA Conference

2014-2015 Focus Areas
• Complete RFP template contract documents
• Further refinement of DBE requirements as they apply to DB delivery
• Formalize WSDOT DB administration processes and policy for consistent statewide application
• Develop formal Project Delivery Method Selection Guidance
• Continue to engage and participate in national forums through FHWA and the DBIA
• Status upcoming DB projects and other opportunities as identified by the subcommittee
