Organisation
- The Public Employment Service AMS is structured into 1 federal, 9 regional and 100 local organisations
- Representatives of employers’ and labour organisations are involved at all levels and are instrumental in designing labour market policies (employment programmes of the federal provinces)
- The body acting at the federal level is the administrative board
Financial support for companiesPeople with disablities are assisted by Public Employment Support counsellors with special know-how in rehabilitation
•Integration Subsidy- Integration Subsidies are used by the public employment service to support placement activities and the (re)integration of disadvantaged groups- The employer will receive financial support in the form of wage subsidies (periodic payments)- Up to 66,7% of the assessment basis (monthly gross pay excluding special bonus payments, plus a lump sum of 50% for non-wage labour costs) is subsidised- During a probationary period of non more than 6 months these subsidies may cover 100%
Financial support for PwD
•Working experience placementsWorking opportunity for job seeking persons to identify their job preferences, strengths, weaknesses, and support needs. Work experience placements are unpaid and can be for any amount of hours per week. A work experience placement should be time-limited to avoid exploitation of the job seeker and EUSE would recommend that 8 -12 weeks is a sufficient time period to meet the objectives of the placement. Also referred to as internship.

Tasks of the Federal Social Services Office
The Federal Social Services Office is a service organisation that focuses on the integration and re-integration of people with disabilities.
Apart from people with disabilities, this also includes enterprises that employ or want to employ people with disabilities.
Vocational integration
Projects focusing on the advice, training and employment (transitional job support) for people with disabilities; and awareness-raising projects with regard to the problems of people with disabilities.

INTEGRATIVE VOCATIONAL TRAINING – IBA (incl. professional orientation and preparation)

• Supervision of IBA is incumbent on the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour (national level)
- regulated in the vocational training act since 2003 - target group: young people between age 15-25:
* could not be placed in a regular apprenticeship

- during orientation+preparation: cover of living by the AMS (approx. 294 EUR)- during integrative vocational training: 294 EUR (1-2 year), 679,50 EUR (3-4 year)- training contract with JAW- long-time practical training in companies- health and accident insurance
