Yes, the setting is grand and spacious, but the atmosphere is bustling. Just look at the number of family groups celebrating special anniversaries and birthdays. We almost guarantee you'll sing along with 'Happy Birthday' at least once during your stay. Booking a table at The Meikle restaurant is also a good excuse to dress up for the evening. Banish, though, any thoughts of stuffy rules. Four-star dining in Scotland doesn't necessarily mean over-starched shorts. Smart casual is the order of the day - although you'll also feel at home dressed a little more formally. We should also mention the Meikle Bar - complete with grand piano and outrageously comfortable chairs. It's the perfect place for an aperitif- or a tour of Scotland courtesy of our whisky wall.
