ABOUT USAs a mother of a 30 year-old daughter with

Down Syndrome, I began providing services

through the Family Caregiving Act. In 2012, one

of the major PASAs in our community hired me

as an independent contractor. Over the years,

the PASA continued to increase its fees, so in

2017, I created my own PASA for the Home and

Community Based Services Waiver programs

provided through Health First Colorado.

I enjoy speaking with other families and

helping them find solutions to assist their loved

one in being happier and healthier. To help

Colorado families, I decided to open up my

agency and employ other family caregivers

through my PASA as independent contractors

and do it at a fair and reasonable rate.
