On your index card, please do the following:

Write your first and last name, along with the period, across the top.

1.Write the numbers 1, 2, and 3 down the left hand side of the card.

2.On #1, write a very general and broad truth about yourself. #1 should be broad enough to be true for most of the people in the class. Ex: I am right-handed.

3. On #2, write a more specific truth about yourself, one that would only be true for several people in the class. Ex: My favorite food is Chinese!

4.On #3, write a very specific truth about yourself, so specific that it should only be true for you. Ex: I was three feet away from Jude Law at the Cannes Film Festival last May!

Divide your notebook into 3 sections: * Identifications: IDs * In-class journal responses

Take good care of your notebook, and it’ll take good care of you!
