What’s happening in DaySpring Life
Starting on February 12, 2012, DaySpring Church is starting the year off with a 21–day Daniel Fast called 21 days of Presence. At this time we will be focusing on prayer and fasting, and seeking His presence in greater measure.
This will be a significant time for our Church. As we come together as a community and as individuals to focus on what it means to be sold out for the presence of God, seeking His direction on the areas of breakthrough, He promises to move on our behalf. We are expecting great blessing at this time.
On Sunday March 4, 2012 we will have a special guest musician and worship leader, Leonard Jones. For more than 15 years Leonard has been the main worship pastor for MorningStar Church and is regarded by many as a creative music genius. We are so looking forward to his visit with us.
In April 2012 we have two key conferences that I believe are highly significant for DaySpring Life.
On April 10-12, 2012, Danny Silk and Kris Vallotton will be here for the Kingdom Transitions – Leaders Advance Conference. We have been working with Kris and Danny for over 18 months to arrange for them to speak at DaySpring. They will bring an encouraging, equipping and kingdom-envisioning message that is not to be missed.
On April 13-14, 2012 is the Culture of Honour Conference with Danny Silk and David Crabtree. This conference draws deep into the heart of DaySpring Church and will focus on the latest teachings of Danny and David and explores the notion that a Kingdom Culture of Honour is a practical and powerful paradigm of Kingdom Living. Please join us for an awesome weekend of teaching and ministry.
We also have a Worship School coming up on May 18-19, 2012 with Steve Swanson. If you are part of our worship team or just love being part of the worship of DaySpring then this is a not to be missed event. Steve has been to DaySpring Church over the past couple of years as the Worship Leader with Randy Clark. Steve brings a strong (and fun) anointing in the area of worship, from which our whole house can benefit.
We hope that this booklet will help you navigate through the aspects life at DaySpring. If you need any help in getting connected with the various ministries, groups or events please contact us at the DaySpring Office on (02) 9894 8844.
Vision and Purpose
Relationship
To live in the unending extravagance of God’s pleasure to such a degree that we consistently experience His healing, joyful and life-giving power and to express that grace and love to our families and everyone around us.
Empowering
To be a resource of inspiration and education as we connect people, churches and communities to the possibilities found in God’s Empowering Presence.
Adventure
To joyfully live as an extension of God’s hands, bringing hope, love and the atmosphere of Heaven into every place we go.
Even though Jesus said that his followers would have trouble on account of Him, and that the pathway forward would be “straight and narrow”, He constantly assured His disciples that His affection for them would last long and be strong. He represented His Father brilliantly well in that He promised “never to leave of forsake” us and that His Spirit would for ever deal with the insecurity of abandonment. There are no orphans when God is Father. Great news! Very good assurance!
Our journey ahead as “DaySpringer’s”, is a journey with friends, walking together with an outstanding Father. In our journey we will learn to love Him and love each other more and more. Jesus promises to bless that kind of journey. It will be a challenge at times, but always rewarding. Welcome to DaySpring Life 2012!

Training & Equipping Events & Conferences
HISmenHISmen Network (which is the men’s ministry within DaySpring) aims to encourage and facilitate an ongoing ministry to men and their families. “HIS” stands for Honour, Integrity, and Spirit, which we believe are essential ingredients in the mature building of a man.
Throughout the year events will be held to give opportunities for men to connect and build our “community of men” eg. 4WD Camping Weekend, Men’s Breakfasts, etc. Our main event is the HISmen Getaway, a two night retreat/camp, which commenced last year with over 100 men and boys. We’re really looking forward to the Getaway in 2012, so please join us (men and boys from 6 years old and up)!
Join us at HISmen AM starts back Wednesday 15th February 2012 . See the group information for HISmen AM.

DSSM
DaySpring School of Supernatural Ministry is different to any traditional college. Rather than an emphasis on theory alone, application and experience will also be highlighted and encouraged. Students will participate in a variety of different learning methods that are practical and experiential, including faith assignments, group interaction and classroom tutorials. The School aims to train you in body, soul and spirit so that you are an effective conduit for the power of the Spirit. Our courses and assignments are specifically designed to build a solid foundation, a knowledge and use of the gifts of the Spirit and a development of sensitivity to the Spirit while connecting students to God. Our aim is that you will realise His vision and purpose for your life. DSSM offers two separate training courses: DSSM First Year and ESM.
DaySpring School of Supernatural Ministry First Year is available to anyone desiring to pursue training in Supernatural Ministry. As well as a weekly evening of class time and two week-long practical Intensive weeks, DaySpring students will become involved in the life of the church through involvement in church ministries in one Sunday service per week. DSSM has chosen to offer its First Year part-time, to make participation in the School available for those with full-time jobs, families and other commitments. This is because the vision

of the School is to train, empower and equip every believer who desires to pursue personal and worldwide transformation in their sphere of God-given influence, whether that is a workplace, family, ministry, community, church or even the nations.
Exploring Supernatural Ministry: A DVD Course (or ESM) is a training program offered as a series of modules, using teaching from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, in Redding USA.
The teaching sessions run in conjunction with NSW school terms and are designed to be practical, interactive and taught in community. They are aimed at empowering students to apply what they are learning to their daily lives – this is all about life in the Kingdom!
ESM runs as a series of 7 modules over the course of 10 months. Each module is 4 sessions in length, taught 1 night per week for 4 weeks. Sessions run for 2 hours.
The course is DVD-based, with the teaching material coming directly from Bethel Church. Each 4-week module will also include small group discussion and practical activation, life application, prophetic input, worship and individual development.

SOZO
Sozo is a Jesus-centred and Spirit-led, church-based ministry that helps heal individuals of the effects of a history of wounding and sin. Sozo ministry serves to set people free from the snares and presence of the demonic through identifying and removing past and present points of access, and establishing healing, blessing and obedience in their place.
As a part of Sozo, individuals can be restored to relationship with Father God and a more fruitful and fulfilling life in Christ.
The term “sozo” is a Greek word meaning to “save, heal and deliver.” Sozo is good for both a simple day-to-day way of living (meeting for coffee, talking to a spouse or child, etc.), in small group or church settings, and in more focused prayer and deliverance ministry.
Like first aid, Sozo is to be “first responder training” for the soul. It is simple, biblical, and God-led in a way that is “naturally
Healing Rooms
Whilst Healing Rooms Team Training is the first step to joining the Healing Rooms Team, it is also for those of you interested in being equipped to heal the sick wherever you might be.
Healing Rooms Team Training is a one day course that covers the basics of healing ministry as it particularly pertains to Healing Rooms from the background history, biblical basis of healing, practical ministry models, ministry protocols and impartation.
The training fee is a one-off cost which means you can come again and again to subsequent training sessions to receive impartation and refresh your skills. The registration fee includes the 80 page Healing Rooms Team Training manual which is a valuable resource on its own and the Training is conducted around the nation by a team of trainers who have been
recognised as effective Healing Rooms practitioners and communicators and released to train by the Healing Rooms Australia National Director, Franklyn Elliott.

supernatural”. It is not hyper-spiritual and does not focus only on demons and deliverance, but also on the reasons someone may be tempted or harassed by the demonic. Culture of Honour
ConferenceFriday 13 April to Saturday 14 AprilConference Speakers Danny Silk and David Crabtree
Jesus and the New Testament church is all about grace, being empowered by the Spirit and living life without the need to “fall back” on rules and regulations. How do we live a life that is fully governed by the Spirit, that does not need to have ‘judgement’ as an ‘incentive’ to behave or to perform well? This conference explores the idea that a Kingdom Culture of Honour is a practical and powerful paradigm of Kingdom living. In fact, we are going to suggest that having a culture of honour is the only way that a Christian community can function in an authentic fashion.

Needing Help or Ministry? Personal Ministry
DaySpring is a church that is all about seeing people set free to be all that God has created them to be.
If you’re in need of personal prayer ministry, the first person to speak to is your group leader. All of our leaders have been trained in personal prayer ministry and should always be your first port of call. If your leader feels a situation is outside their training, they will contact the SOZO Team on your behalf to make necessary arrangements. The SOZO Team will encourage your group leader to be present to support you in any further ministry.
DaySpring also has a strong network of professional counsellors and psychologists to whom we can refer you. Again, speak to your group leader.
Times of Crisis and Emergency
In the unfortunate event that you need support in a crisis or emergency situation, we again encourage you to contact your group leader first, as they know you best. Your group leader will be able to call on further resources should they be required.
In the event that you can not contact your group leader, DaySpring has an emergency number that’s on call 24/7.
