Student Activities Previous lessons the student’s will have the
opportunity to rework and revise any issues or errors identified in week 7 by their critical peer review.
This lesson the students will be required develop a brief description (5 min) to summarise their proposal.
This will be presentation to the field expert with a list of questions they may need to clarify or discuss with the field expert.
This is scheduled for the follow up lesson and will be used to present their proposed ideas to a field expert.
The presentation should consider who they are speaking to and identify key questions the students feel will be key in the ongoing development of the proposal.

Student Activities Cont.. This presentation can be submitted in any form the
students feel comfortable with. Creation of digital presentation will be evidence for higher order thinking skills.
They will be supplied with ICT resources such as digital cameras and school approved computer programs such as Windows Movie Maker.
The presentation must be sent/received by the teacher as part of the assessment requirements, it will be used for ongoing evidence and grade towards the final mark.
This presentation and key questions will be developed and submitted to the teacher for further evidence of the assessment standards.

Student Activities Cont..
The teacher will set up a skype meeting with the deputy principal and the year 11 students.
The aim of the skype session is to give the students a lesson on professional code of conduct when using communication devices such as skype and conference calls.
This experience will give the students a short lesson on what will happen when the professional calls, who will introduce the presentations, etc.

This will also give the students an opportunity to identify roles and responsibilities for the upcoming skype session with the field expert.
This lesson will be followed up with the skype meeting with the field expert and community consultation and continuing reworking of their proposals.
The students will use the remaining week to further develop plan in align with advice from the field expert.

Assessments
Week 8 - The students will develop a short summary presentation for the field expert.

The practice skype session with the Deputy Principal will give the students exposure to acting professional and using communication devices with high standards of etiquette.
The draft presentation will also be used by the teacher to provide evidence of learning.
The draft will also aid the teacher in providing additional directions and suggestions based on the proposal outlined by the groups.
