Pranav played a marathoninnings of 232 balls to score 102runs, keeping one-end intact.The match ended in a tame drawwith J&K scoring 230 runs forfour wickets in 94.5 overs.

According to the reportsreaching here Pranav was insublime touch in an inningswhich was amalgam of offenceand defence. He was rock solidin his defence and displayed flu-idity, grace and balance in hisdrives, cuts and pulls. JatinWadhwan, who is in good form

also contributed brisk 46 runs,including 8 fours and two sixes,while Umar Nisar and Musaibscored valuable 44 and 40 runsrespectively.

Earlier, Hyderabad in theirfirst innings set a mammoth totalof 626 runs for the loss of 5 wick-ets in their first innings, therebyexposing J&K bowling line upcompletely. For J&K, Amir Sofitook 3 wickets, while Abhinavand Tahir claimed one wicketeach. In reply, J&K were bundledout for 181 runs in 82.4 overs tofollow-on. Umar Nisar was thestar performer, scoring splendid70 runs and none of the otherbatsmen could manage to occupythe crease for a long time.

Following on, it was PranavGupta alongwith the trio of Jatin,Umar and Musaif, who savedJ&K from possible defeat bring-ing the total to 230 runs.

The team is being accompa-ined by former Ranji trophy play-er, Sarbjeet Singh as coach, whileBCCI trainer Pawan Kumar is thetrainer.

Earlier, batting first, NCCAkhnoor scored a decent total of182 runs in the stipulated 20overs, losing 6 wickets in theprocess. Arush and Rinku scordmagnificent half-centuries, scor-ing 54 and 50 runs respectively,

while Ballu and Tannu con-tributed 24 and 17 runs to thetotal respectively. For LittleFlower, Rajinder took 2 wickets,while Rahul, Nadeem and Vinayclaimed one wicket each.

In reply, Little Flower scored183 runs easily by losing 5 wick-ets, thus won the match by 5wickets. Nadeem was the topscorer with 50 runs, while Rahul,Vinay and Sagar contributedvaluable 44, 34 and 25 runs tothe total respectively. For NCCAkhnoor, Tannu took 2 wickets,while Rinku claimed one.

Having enjoyed a successful first game in New York, the CricketAll Stars Spectacle, featuring Sachin's Blasters and Warne's Warriors,is set to woo thousands of cricket fans here tomorrow.

After the first T20 witnessed 25000 fans at New York's Citi Fields,mostly expats, the cricket stars are ready to face each other again atHouston's baseball ground, Minute Maid Park, on Diwali night.

It will be the first time when cricket will be played in this famedbase ball stadium.

Vijay's 75 and 47 in the firstand second innings respectivelymade his presence felt in the bat-ting chart that has no Indians inthe top-10.

BCCI president ShashankManohar had made a ferventappeal to the Board's membersahead of its 86th AGM to lendtheir support to a few decisionswhich, according to him, wereneeded to protect the autonomyof the Board during its difficulttimes.

"My second term as thePresident is more challenging asthe Board is passing through tur-bulent times. It is necessary forall the members to support cer-tain decisions which are requiredto be taken to protect the interestof the Board in maintaining itsautonomy," Manohar wrote in itsannual report.

He also referred to the diffi-cult times the BCCI was passingthrough, apparently referring tothe 2013 IPL spot-fix scandalthat resulted in the SupremeCourt forming the JusticeMudgal panel to probe it fol-lowed by the Justice Lodhapanel which decided on quan-tum of punishment to those

found guilty by the formerpanel.

"The BCCI needs to improveits efficiency and transparencyin governance and a great dealof accountability is requiredfrom the members as to how theBCCI funds are used," he wrote.

He has mentioned that as afirst step in this cleaning upoperation to signal more trans-parency the Board "has startedsharing all information regard-ing rules and regulations on theBCCI website."

Making a strong pitch forframing conflict of interestrules, all of which were subse-quently passed by the generalbody unanimously as heannounced after the AGM yes-terday, he felt these were neces-sary to restore the cricket lovers'faith.

"I seek your support to bringabout certain amendments in therules and regulations, framerules of conflict of interest,frame rules for accreditation forPlayer Managers. I have torequest you to make best

endeavours to work towardseradicating corruption from thegame of cricket at the state leveland assist the BCCI in its effortsto restore the faith of the cricketloving public in cricket,"Manohar wrote.
