WANNA PANNA CONCEPTFollowing the success of the Red Bull Street Style, the freestyle football scene has spread along the Saudi youth and the talent has grown.

This year we want to offer the freestylers a new platform that they are already familiar with and have a passion for which is to compete against each other in a game of Panna Football.

WANNA PANNA CONCEPTRed Bull Wanna is a type of street football in which fine dribbling counts rather than scoring a goal.

Red Bull Wanna Panna will put candidates one facing another on a pitch measuring 6 x 6 metres in quick games lasting 4 minutes.

The winner will be the one who manages to outdo his opponent in playing the ball through his legs. In case of a draw, an extra minute is added. If the score remains a draw, a panel of 3 judges will decide on the winner based on control and skills.

WHAT IS PANNA?

WHAT IS PANNA?Panna is a Dutch slang word for playing the ball through the legs of your opponents .

Panna is a new form of street football that originates from Holland.

Unlike football games, Panna is all about individual technique and skills.

Players play 1 vs. 1 on a small pitch measuring 6 x 6 meters in quick games lasting 4 minutes each.

The winner is the one who scores the most Pannas dribbling then passing the ball between the legs of your opponent.

WHAT IS PANNAFor the youth, Panna is more than just a football game. Panna is a lifestyle, complete with urban clothing, street slang, hip hop music and streetwise attitudes.

The trick is to impose yourself on your opponent without any sign of emotion and without losing a drop of sweat. And all of this with the ever-present pumping hip hop beat in a relaxed atmosphere.

RULES & REGULATIONS

RULES AND REGULATIONS1 on 1 inside a 6 x 6 steel cage.

4 minute game (2 halves).

The player to start with the ball is decided with a coin toss. Then the second half, the ball starts with the opposing player.

The winner is the player who scores the most pannas. Incase of a draw, 1 minute will be added. If a draw still took place, a panel of three judges will decide the winner based on:Ball SkillsPossession

Only limited physical contact can be permitted (cannot grip each others clothing).

Dangerous fouling is not permitted and is punished by disqualification.

Respect for your opponent and fair play is essential. A player who does not stick to this during the game can be disqualified.

Qualification matches will be played in a 6 x 4 rectangular parameter.

16 players will make it to the final round.

TOUR SCENARIOThe Final battle will take place in a location in the city of Jeddah.

A steel octagon will be the place of the showdowns.

A round of 8 knockouts involving 16 players until a winner is crowned.

Hip Hop music and culture will be the theme of the event and will be projected by the event set-up, DJ and MC.
