LEADING in a VOLATILE UNCERTAIN COMPLEX and AMBIGUOUS WORLD
Under the regular supervision of a dedicated personal development Mentor, every Emerging Leader on the VUCA programme will experience:
A six-week engagement activity to set expectations and increase motivation, including:
a discussion with their Line Manager
a meeting with a Senior Executive Mentor
a multi-rater online 360 degree feedback process
psychometric analysis using FIRO-B®
a one-hour telephone-based briefing from their designated ASK® Facilitator
A year-long learning activity featuring formal and informal methodologies including:
a three-day residential workshop in which participants will:
- take part in a computer-based leadership simulation
- learn and practise four key leadership skills
- receive ‘rich feedback’ featuring psychometric, 360 degree, observation and peer feedback
a workplace project, secondment or community volunteering project
mentoring with a Senior Executive
three hours of post-workshop telephone-based Executive Coaching with their designated ASK® Facilitator
Commencing immediately after the workshop and running alongside informal learning, a 45-week transfer activity to ensure that newly acquired or enhanced leadership capabilities are transferred to and applied in the workplace in a way that improves performance including:
structured post-workshop and monthly meetings with their Line Manager
implementation of a structured Transfer Plan
early opportunities to practise new capabilities
10 hours of face-to-face supervision with a dedicated personal development Mentor
