President’s Message
Being president or board member of LCBA is never dull, LCBA
beginner classes, world’s best Field Day, world’s best County Fair,
End of Summer Classic, planning meetings, bee yard classes, board
meetings and I'm sure more.
It is difficult to keep up the standard and reach even higher than
the year before, but this current board seems to do so
effortlessly. We are looking for fresh ideas and members to help
press LCBA on into the future. You do not need to be experienced in
anyway, we have all learned on the job and I am sure you can as
well.
Nominations are being accepted for all positions of office in LCBA
for the year 2022. Please see any board member to volunteer or
nominate any individual you think can and would help at our next
meeting. Nominations close at the Nov. meeting and elections take
place at the Dec. meeting!
Oct. 8th meeting will be our annual fall banquet and auction. It
has always been great fun and entertainment for all attendees, if
you have never attended an LCBA fall banquet/auction make sure you
put this event on your calendar and you will never miss another!
See other pertinent infor- mation elsewhere in this edition of the
Buzzzz. We will also have a honey tasting contest at the Nov. 12th
meeting and those taster bottles will be handed out at the Oct. 8th
meeting. Of course the annual trophy will be awarded at the Dec.
10th meeting only the best need enter, which means ME.

Joan Romick stated this was an educational event like our Field
Day. We will discuss EOSC event with our members for their input on
continuing this event. Randy Leiby has looked at the 2022 fair
bookings and the only date available in September 2022 was

anyone at the meeting, he will check to see if this bill belongs to
Katherine Holmes.

Memorial Garden – Larry & Bren Theurer donated 2 plastic
coating and 2 lighted newel post tops for our memorial posts in the

who have passed away since we installed the garden. Audrey Gargas
will check with Garrett Kuhner to see if he is still able to make
