HISTORY & DEVELOPMENT
Each and every unit has got sum of other history of
its-self. VARMORA ceramics Pvt. Ltd. has stay near a full
automatic Italian plant for manufacturing vitrified tiles. In
short, this unit has achieved decade of valuable
experience at this time.
This group is also known as “VARMORA” group.
This unit is established in 1984. VARMORA groups are
divided other two famous ceramics. There are known as
“SUNSHINE” and “SUNHILL” group. But VARMORA
ceramics Pvt. Ltd. are wide agriculture and carried good
business at progress.
In 1994 they have started manufacturing of
ceramics vitrified tiles. Shri Bhaveshbhai Patel is manager
in this unit and manages the unit very well with struggle.
This group has very young and family member itself
all disciplined and hard-working.

Size of an organization depends of their capital
investment in fixed assets industries are divided in 4

Location is the particular place or area where the
business units are establishment. It plays an important
role in the success or failure of unit. Location of unit
established as well as production. There location of a unit
some of these factors from the viewpoint of VARMORA
CERAMICS PVT. LTD. Discussed below.

1) Prepare Location of Site:-
The site selection for location of industry must be
nearer to public utility service like transportation,
warehousing, water, power etc. As a highway, at Dhuva
which is a situated on 8 - A National away from Morbi city,
site is in ceramics zone with number of other ceramics
unit.
2) Availability of labor:-
Adequate supply of cheap and skilled labor is
necessary. As there are number of unit engaged in the
similar line, cheap and skilled labor are available from
near by areas.
3) Electricity:-
As there is well-developed industrial zone, power
connection from Gujarat Electricity board is available very
easily.
4) Water:-
Water is an important factor. This site is very near to
Machchu – River and dam so here plenty water is
available at every low depth.
5) Raw – Materials:-
Raw – material is the vital-consideration. As in the
area there are about 40 other unit engaged in the same
line, Raw-materials suppliers & machinery suppliers used
to visit this area, so Raw material availability becomes
easy. Experienced and skilled machineries repairs and
technocrats are available here.
TIME KEEPING SYSTEM
Time keeping system means how many shifts are
there and how many hours are in each shift. Every
company should prepare a record about their days. It is
important for maintaining discipline.
In VARMORA ceramics, factory is running for
continuous process. It is working for 24 hours and 3
shifts.

In ordinary sense, the unit will can do work where
raw material is very easy available. So, the cost of Raw-
Material is the major cost in the overall cost of production.
Raw Material is the vital-consideration. It is the basic
requirements for any industry Raw – material are
converted in to semi finished goods after various process
on it and them they are converted to finished goods.
In VARMORA ceramics raw-materials are collected
from various parts of the country. So, there all raw
materials are available with the help of transportation
facility like roadways as transportation facilities has

globe is pollution. VARMORA ceramics works within the

chimneys are there by which they try to reduce the air

training is given to sales force how to sale products,
product knowledge how to represent company to
customers, how to build & maintain relations. Training is
given to the workers, as how to operate machines how to
do the work very effectively and in given time limit, how to
represent our company against other companies. This
company also arrange, provide motivational training to the
workers.
WAGES & SALARY ADMINISTRATION
The basic purpose of wages & salaries is to
establish and maintain an equitable wage & salary
structure. The wage & salary administration is concerned
with the finance aspirates of the needs, motivation and
rewards it also refers to the establishment and
implementation of sound policy and practice and practice
of employee’s compensation.
It includes such areas as job evaluation surveys of
wage & salary analysis of relevant organization problems,
maintenance of administering wage, incentives, profit
sharing, control of compensation cost & other related
items.
In VARMORA CERAMIC PVT. LTD. there is a time
wage system & it is paid on monthly basic. There wage
are calculated at managerial level, salaries are paid on
yearly basic and its amount is paid by the company
according to the working efficiency of employee.

I was really glad to visit VARMORA CERAMIC PVT.

I personally fell that the unit doesn’t need any
suggestion because it is good at all its aspects. The only
thing that I would suggest is that it should give the
advertisement of its product on specially star, Sony and
Doordarshan. As it doesn’t give any advertisement. This
will increase the sales to tremendous extent.
