Collaborative Innovation A consistent environment for teaching industry practices and for optimizing education processes
Includes the main features of an industrial PLM environment
Roles Definition : Various Pre-defined Roles can be granted to each student within a given project
Security context : Access rights to the organization’s data and to the features of the application are based on the role assigned
Lifecycle management : Lifecycle operations can be performed on objects contained in the V6 database
Maturity cycle (In Work, Frozen, Released, …)
In the V6 architecture, all product data are managed and contained in the database. This database contains the physical data, logical structure and requirements of products and parts
You will be able to work on them from any computer where applications are installed, without having to copy or store them on your local computer. This simplifies the process of data management and sharing of information

Collaborative Innovation
Send text messages… A simple text chat can be extended to an online review – a Co-review
A Co-review is a session that enables online sharing of screens and actions with other users over the network. Each participant in the co-review is an actor and not just a listener :
Annotate 3D Data
Share snapshots
Online review of 3D objects
Concurrently work on the same design
All project participants can communicate around the 3D product definition at any time
Collaboration : A native environment and efficient tools
Allows working with CATIA, DELMIA or SIMULIA for pre-defined period of time without being connected to ENOVIA V6 sever
Switching offline, the reserved data and the required licenses are extracted locally
IP integrity preserved when working offline
Allows propagating seamlessly in project data environment all the changes performed offline
Capability to temporary work offline with ENOVIA VPM On-The-Go (VND)

course deals with defining processes, detailing process flow and managing Product
to Process assignments. It also teaches you to create a virtual manufacturing
environment for significant cost savings. This course will also teach you how to create
a layout design for a manufacturing plant and how to use the resources. You will also
learn how to balance resources as per operations.

CATIA Companion for Structural Analysis (ST6)
CATIA V5 to V6 Analysis Transition (8 hours) This course will introduce you to CATIA V6 and the fundamental concepts of PLM. You will
learn how to search for models in the V6 database and how to import existing V5 data.
Using a role-based scenario in the context of an assembly you will learn how to design
parts in collaboration with other users, perform modifications, check impacts, and propagate
the modifications to the impacted parts. You will also learn how to perform a finite element
analysis for structures in CATIA V6 (preprocessing, computation, post-processing, and
assembly analysis).
CATIA Structural Analysis Fundamentals (12 hours) This course will introduce the concepts and benefits of Finite Element Analysis and the
general analysis process. It will teach you how to prepare a model for analysis, create 1D,
2D and 3D FE models, and compute a simple static analysis for a single part or an
assembly.
