• Create a parent account in Khan Academy.
• Add student accounts.
• Monitor your student’s progress on lessons.

Khan Academy Overview
Visit khanacademy.org and choose “Parents, start here.”
Khan Academy Website
Sign-up with your email or logging in through Google or Facebook.
Create an Account
Once logged in, connect to your student’s Khan Academy account.
“Getting Started” Dashboard
Create a student account OR search for one already created. (recommended)
Connecting Your Student’s Account
Enter your child’s birthday and email. (if applicable)

Create a username and password for your student’s account.

Once a student account is created, you can:
• Add another child.
• Go to the Parent Homepage.
• Have your child log in.

Students must go to their Learner Dashboard and select “Coaches.”

Parents can be added under the “Add a Coach” section using an email.

Get a brief overview of recent performance.
Student Performance
View performance progress and detailed notes on skill development, lessons mastered, and number of questions completed.
Detailed Student Performance
Finish the parent checklist by viewing tips, learn lessons for yourself, and having your student log in.
