UpgradeProcedureTherefereemustnotifytheStateDirectorofAssessment(SDA)ofhis/herintentinwriting.Asapartofthisnotice,therefereeshouldincludeamatchcountylog,whichdocumentsthattherefereehasmettheminimummatchrequirementsandconfirmsthattherefereehasbeenactiveasagrade7Refereeforatleast12months.

SprintTest•Participantsrunsixconsecutive40metersprintsfollowedbyarecoveryperiodaftereachsprint(whilewalkingbacktothestartline)•Dynamicstartwiththefrontfootonalinethatis1.5metersawayfromtheelectronictiminggatesatthestartingposition•Ifaparticipantfallsortrips,theyareallowedanotherattemptatthatspecificsprint•Ifaparticipantfailsonesprintoutofthesix,theyaregivenonemoreattemptimmediatelyafterthesixthsprint•Ifaparticipantfailstwosprints,theyfailthetest

IntervalTest•Participantsrunatotaloftenconsecutivelaps•Alapconsistsoftwo150meterrunswithtwo50meterrecoverywalks -Startswithrunning150metersintheprescribedtime -Followedbywalking50metersintheprescribedtime -Thisprocessisrepeatedtocompleteonelap•Walkingareaismarkedbycones3metersoneachsideofthe150metermarks•Ifaparticipantfailstoreachthewalkingareaintheprescribedtime,theyareissuedawarning•Ifaparticipantfailstoreachthewalkingareaforasecondtime,theyfailthetest
