Dear Colleague,
Organizing Committee
The field of breast oncology is evolving in the most revolutionary manner with dramatic advances
involving all the spheres of breast cancer treatment. Thanks to precision medicine, genomic landscaping,
targeted therapies, diagnostic technology and surgical strategies. The field continues to gather momentum
with personalized medicine.
Bigger may definitely not be better in the era of precision medicine. Traditional definitions of surgery give
way to modern technology with the advent of LASERS, Cryoablation, ROLL and HIFU. Genomic landscape
determine adjuvant therapy and NGS helps tackle drug resistance. Similarly IORT and hypofractionation
have revolutionized the way radiation has been delivered in breast cancers.
So brace yourselves for a brainstorming rendezvous through the state of the art management of breast thcancer with a glimpse of the future direction during the 16 Annual International Conference
RGCON themed “BREAST CANCER IN THE ERA OF PRECISION MEDICINE” organized by rd ththe Rajiv Gandhi cancer Institute & Research Centre between 3 to 5 February 2017 at the Habitat
World, India habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi. It is our pleasure and privilege to invite you all to
Delhi in February 2017 to the academic extravaganza.
