Expert Session was organized on the topic, “ITRevolution” conducted on 4th March 2015 by Dr. R.S.Tiwari for SE, TE & BEIT students.
MET UTSAV 2015
MET’s UTSAV- A College gathering which is among the highestrated cultural event among all the events of Nasik. Every year weat MET’S BKC, organizes the UTSAV in the month of January for
3 days and there is Grand Finale Night on 4th day where wecelebrate the youth’s talent from all the Institutes’ students’. Morethan 10000 people acknowledges event every year. It’s truly a grantplatform for all the students of all the Institutes of MET BKC,
Nashik-03. In 2015 we had organized it during 21st to 24th January.
Every year UTSAV is sponsored by various Industries andOrganizations of Nasik like Mahindra & Mahindra, HondaTwo Wheelers, VASAN Eye Care, E&G Green Valley andResorts, Tea Post and many more.
INAUGURATION CEREMONY:
UTSAV’15 was inaugurated by Mr. Avinash Dharmadhikari Ex. IAS officer and Mrs. Apurva Jakhadi, Scientist at NASA
and a VIP person of Institution of Engineers, Nasik on 21st January 2015. On the auspicious occasion of Inauguration
Ceremony guests addressed the students with the discussion on recent trends in technologies and their application in real life.
Also guests talked about the importance of the competitive exams and opportunities of jobs in government sector. Mrs.
Apruva delivered the contents of what is research and how it is useful for the development of nation as whole.
These sessions were really great by which student also got the golden opportunity to have words with such eminent
personalities. The main theme of the UTSAV was “Bollywood”. Where we celebrated Bollywood in campus with 3 different
days as Traditional Day, Costume Day and Entertainment Day. UNITY actively participated in UTSAV with organization
and participation in various events under UTSAV’15. It is another golden opportunity to our students to showcase and
nurture the vital skills like Event Management, Leadership, Coordination, Stress Management, Cooperativeness, and
Marketing etc.
Workshop on Operating Systems: “Multithreading & IPC in Linux:”
The workshop was organized for TE IT students on 16th
Jan 2015; on Operating System Linux. The workshop isbased on Theory and Practical’s for academics. Theworkshop was conducted by Prof. Tushar B. Kute fromSITRC, Nashik; and Prof. R. P. Dahake was theworkshop co-ordinator.
Expert Session on “System Programming a practicalApproach”:
The expert session was organized for TE IT students, on 9th Jan 2015; thesession is useful for the student’s academic. With the help of this studentwill be capable to face the problems in practical’s; the expert person forthe session Prof. Rupali Bora from K.K.Wagh COE, Nashik.

Events:
MET’S GOT TALENT:
This is the first event organized by the Institute duringUTSAV’15. Mr. Roshan Deshmukh was the maincoordinator for the same. Our source of inspiration Mrs.Shefali Bhujbal and Mr. Atul Narang (RenownedChoreographer, Nashik) were the judges for the same.This event provides the platform for the students to showtheir hidden cultural talents like dance, singing, mimicry,one act play etc. in front of all the staff and students ofthe college campus. Also they are rewarded by the prize.Everyone enjoyed this event a lot. And very interesting andenthusiastic performance were given by the students.
TECHNOFEST:
It was getting organized every year by Institute ofEngineering. This provides students the platform toshowcase their technical talent. This event providedvarious sub technical events where students gotopportunity to compete for various technical things.
FUNFAIR:
This was mainly the Fair like area where we canenjoy food on various stalls hosted by students of allthe departments of all the Institutes of METBKC andalso can enjoy various small games which were alsohosted on stalls by the students. We had also kept theprizes for winners of games. Almost a l l t h e s t u d e n t sa n d staff h a d enjoyed this event a lot. The event wasorganized outside IOM.
FLOWER MAKING:
This was an Artistic and Creative workshop .This wasvery useful for all the participants which hasprovided a platform to Explore and Share theirUnique and Creative ideas to make flowers from paperand other raw materials. It was held in IOM SeminarH a l l .
VIRTUAL DRIVING:
This is another workshop among the bestworkshops organized during UTSAV’15.It was held inMechanical Building IOE. This focused on aspects ofdriving in virtual world and how to incorporate it in realworld.
ZUMBA FITNESS DANCE:
This was organized for first time in UTSAV’15.This was quiet different and unique eventaddressed b y huge crowd . The event wasmainly held to provide Dance Fitness Classeswhich were fun , energetic and also amazing.This event was addressed by various staffmembers and students from all the Instituteswho had participated and also enjoyed it alot. It was organized in AMPHI THEATRE.

EYE PROTECTION:The workshop was organized in IOT -PSeminar Hall on Thursday 22nd January’15from 12 noon to 2.00 pm.

LAUGHING FOR HEALTH:It was organized in AMPHI THEATRE. It was veryuseful workshop as laughing is most important part of ourlife. This workshop helped people to know theimportance of laughing in our day to day life. Varioustechniques have been discussed by speaker to laugh andget the most of happiness out of it.
TREASURE HUNT:It was a Fun a n d Sporty event which held inUTSAV’15 .There were groups of 5 students whoparticipated. Students had to hunt for the treasurebased on clues given. An overwhelmed r e s p o n s ewe got for this event and students enjoyed it a lot. It
was held on 23rd J a n u a r y ’15 from 1.00 pm to3.00 pm.
WOMEN’S S E L F D E F E N C EThis was really most useful workshop particularly forwomen; where female staff had learned varioustechniques of defending themselves from varioussocial attacks. They had also learned the techniquesof how to protect themselves from such attacksbefore they happen. It was organized in AMPHITHEATRE on 23rd Jan 2015 from 2.00pm to 3.30 pm.
GARBA WORKSHOP:Every year we celebrate the essence of culture throughGARBA workshop followed by Dandiya workshop. TheGarba workshop is held in the amphitheatre of collegepremises. It was organized by the students of all thedepartments of the Institute. And the main aim behindorganizing this workshop is for the entertainment of thestaff as well as students and also makes them enjoy theGARRBA culture. The students of computer departmentalso coordinated this event with their event managementskills and all the garba lovers enjoyed this event with greatzeal.
STAFF ENTERTAINMENT:This is the main event organized by T r u s t OfficeDepartment exclusively for all the Staff of all theInstitutes like Engineering, Pharmacy,Polytechnic, and MBA. This is another soft cornerfor all the Staff members where on this one dayevery Staff enjoys themselves by consideringonly the family member of MET BKC and notteacher.
ROCKSHOW:This event was organized by team UTSAV; we hadcalled the Local and Outer Popular Band toshowcase their talent and to entertain in real forthe audience. The event was sponsored by CocaCola and Coke Studio MTV. There was a hugeresponse for this event. It was organized inAMPHI THEATRE.

LEGAL AND ONCOLOGY SESSION:The workshop was organized in IOT -P SeminarH a l l which was focused on hands of human beingand reading those using newest technologies. Thisworkshop was really useful and helpful for all. Allthe staff members of all department and studentsenjoyed it lot also.
So we can say its grand platform for all the teachers to enjoy and also to showcase their hidden and
extracurricular talents. It was organized in AMPHITHEATRE on 23rd January’15.

Grand Cultural Night:
A Grand Finale rather a Grand Cultural Night hosted by MET BKC for all the students and staff to showcasetheir cultural talent like Singing, Dancing, Mimicry, Drama, Anchoring, Instrument Playing etc. On the occasionof UTSAV this grand night is arranged every year on the last day of UTSAV.
