Most merciful God,
you know our hearts are willing.
We want to be in step with our Servant King
on his daily march of justice and joy, but we are often out of step.
We wander more than we follow.
We look for smooth roads and easy journeys, and we lose the way.
In the silence now, help us confess
the times we have wandered and the help we need.
Help us ask for what you always give—
healing, pardon, and peace.
SILENCE In Jesus’ name. All: Amen SONG OF ASSURANCE
Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, they are weak, but he is strong. Refrain: Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me Yes, Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so. Jesus loves me, this I know, as he loved so long ago. Taking children on his knee, saying “let them come to me.” Refrain Jesus loves me still today, walking with me on my way. Wanting as friend to give light and love to all who live. Refrain

plain neighborliness, we're inviting folks living in these nearby streets to walk to W.V.C.
for a Holy Week service of their choosing. You are invited to join a team and walk a near-
by Wellesley street on Palm Sunday, putting a Holy-Week card in all the mailboxes you
encounter along your route. Join old friends or make new ones. Get to know a nearby
neighborhood. Follow one of ten routes laid out to take about 1.5 hours to complete on
foot. Congregate in Burtt Chapel at 11:30 am today, where each team will get a stack of

Oatmeal donations can be placed in the collection boxes near the entrances on Sunday
morning or dropped off at the church office Monday through Friday.
Change to Holy week Schedule
This year we are trying something new! We are combining the Easter Vigil and Sunrise
Service into one service. Beginning at 5 am on Easter Sunday, we’ll keep vigil with a fire
on the driveway next to the churchyard. In prayer, silence and conversation, we’ll await
the dawn. At 6:30 am, we will have a brief Sunrise Service in the churchyard, followed by
communion and breakfast in the Chapel. Breakfast will be potluck style with coffee and
pastries provided by the church; bring what you can to share. Come when you can and as
you are (even in your PJs!).

Our Church Covenant
We are banded together as a Christian Church
to maintain the worship of God,
to proclaim the gospel of Christ,
to develop in all people a consciousness of their relations and duties
to God and to each other, and
to inspire them with love for truth, passion for righteousness,
and enthusiasm for service.
To this end we pledge our loyalty to Christ and covenant with each other
to express God’s spirit in our individual and corporate life;
to live together as Christians and to submit ourselves to the
government of this Church,
working, giving, praying for its increase, its purity, its peace,
and seeking in every way to make it a power
for the building up of the kingdom of God.
