What is the difference between Sin and Original Sin?Answer with your 7:00 partner.

• Sin is the breach or breaking of the relationship that we have with God. Such as breaking his rules of the 10 commandments.

• Original Sin is Adam and Eve’s breaking of their relationship by thinking that they were greater than God and that they did not have to follow God’s rules so they ate of the fruit of the forbidden tree. Their eyes were opened and they saw that they had sinned against God and were ashamed.

Explain how forgiveness sets us free.Answer with your 1:00 partner.

• Various answers can be used as long as they pertain to how hatred hardens our hearts and only forgiveness can set us free.

• Hurt causes bitterness. Bitterness causes Anger. Anger can lead to pent up hatred. Hatred can lead to violence.

• Humans need to vent their frustrations or else we will blow up.

• It is best to vent to the person you are frustrated with!• Forgiveness sets us free by allowing the anger to subside

or be erased.

watching a movie on Mother Teresa. We will be using her biography for you to show me what you have learned in unit one has been demonstrated in her life.

The class following the movie we will go to the computer lab to write your paper.

That will be the end of the unit. Therefore all unit one assignments including the paper must be completed to receive credit.
