Implementing methodology of the EU / UNDP Smart Cities/Innovation Governance projects
1. 26 partner cities of 13 oblasts (city component)
2. 2 cities mentors: Voznesensk (Mykolaiv region) and Ivano-Frankivsk (Ivano-Frankivsk region)
3. EU / UNDP co-financing -80% of the project budget
4. Co-financing of city authorities - 20% of the project budget (mandatory condition)
5. Trainings, training, counseling, best national and international practices to apply
6. Sustainability of the projects

Innovative : three areas for interventions
1. Transparency and accountability in local governance to improve functionality and accountability of its institutions
2. Providing services based on e-government principles: municipal projects involving ICTs and mobile technologies, to promote the provision of municipal services
3. Creation / support of innovative tools for comfortable living of city residents

Goal: Contribute to more efficient public administration, capable to interact and work in a transparent manner with the business sector, civil society and local communities for promotion of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and Ukraine’s approximation towards EU.
