To My Colleagues,
We have all attended symposia that cover various topics related to invasive and non-invasive, ablative and non-ablative procedures,
fillers, neuromodulators, lasers, and chemical peels offering what is proven or unproven among the myriad of procedures on the
market today. Despite the fact that the number of speakers often outnumbers the audience, the fundamental organ of “the skin”
is often inadequately addressed. We talk about every method that cuts, evaporates, resurfaces, plumps, and tightens the skin,
without addressing the skin itself; its quality, integrity, vitality, and suitability for all of these procedures.
The primary focus in this symposium will be on “skin”, covering the science of how to restore skin health, cellular activity and
function, and how to improve the skin’s ability to tolerate any procedure. This 3-day program will open your eyes on how to
enhance positive results, accelerate healing and how to maintain results for your patients. The concept of prevention will be
covered, revealing most skin disorders can be prevented using certain topical agents and through education of patients to
prevent complications.
For years we have made erroneous judgments when it comes to treating darker skin types. There has been much confusion about
which procedures are appropriate for darker skin types. This symposium shall eliminate the confusion and emphasize optimal
treatment for all skin types.
More than 30 years ago I developed the Science of Skin Health, encompassing the definition, products, and treatment protocols
that many practitioners around the world have integrated into their practice, providing their patients with superior results. The
non-CME half-day course will cover the successes and failures in the field that come with thirty years of experience as a dermatologist
and will include my new thinking as I raise the bar on the Science of Skin Health with new protocols, products, and peels. I plan to
deliver the presentation of a lifetime, revealing the most effective methods in the treatment of skin that can easily be implemented
into any practice.
Please join me and welcome our esteemed faculty for this unique and informative symposium in the ultimate city, and at the ultimate hotel.

Zein E. Obagi, MDDermatologist, Beverly Hills, CACourse Chairman
The quintessential maverick of dermatology, merely intended to challenge the norms of conventional skin treatments. In so doing, he shattered the status quo, changed the ways that dermatologists and plastic surgeons treated skin, and managed to expose the risk-adverse culture to new ideas and opportunities. As an inventor, author and lecturer his name has become synonymous to results-oriented skin treatments around the world.
