Tulane Environmental Law Summit
The Tulane Environmental Law Society is proud to present:
The 18th Annual Summit on Environmental Law & Policy
Feb 22 & 23, New Orleans
Keynotes Friday: The Keynote Plenary Panelists are Kieran Suckling, the founding director of the Center for Biological Diversity and Emma Marris, correspondent for Nature Magazine and author of Rambunctious Garden: Saving Nature in a Post-Wild World. They will present differing responses to the “Anthropocene,” the dawning era, when humans rule.
Saturday: Keynote Speaker Yvon Chouinard is a Fortune cover businessman, celebrated environmentalist, pioneering rock climber, and author, though he is perhaps known most notably for founding Patagonia, a leading company in the outdoor gear and clothing industry. Chouinard’s most recent book, The Responsible Company: What We've Learned from Patagonia's First 40 years, recounts the process of creating a company based both on sound business practices, and environmentalism.
