15:15 Welcome - Barco Theater15:45 Keynote - From Ideas to Reality Tobias Degsell, Founder and CEO of COMBINER

Ideas are easy. Execution is everything. It takes a team to win. In this keynote Mr. Degsell will speak about how to go from talk to action. The power of us, and the importance of diversity and trust is es-sential in order to create successful companies and organisations. How do we bridge the gap between today and tomorrow, and the difference between change and improvement?

Tobias Degsell first spoke to the ABPM community at the 2010 ABPM European Conference. He “preached about the power and magnitude of creativity” from the perspective of a curator at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm. He was such a hit that we asked him to be our keynote at the 2011 Spring Conference, where members were, once again, delighted. Today he is an entrepreneur and creativity and learning expert helping companies and organisations all over the world think and act new.

In this interactive session, we’ll explore ideas, techniques, and best practices that support the strategies of a World Class program.

It is essential that programs work across functions, departments, and committees to create the synergy needed to deliver impactful brief-ing experiences; especially when resources are limited. How do we navigate daily across all departments to source the information, resources and support to create agendas and customer experiences that address the needs of complex customer requirements? A strategy to purposely bring people together will help achieve results and create natural advocates for your program.

thursday, 27 june, 201913:00 - 14:30 Breakout SessionsMicrosoft Executive Briefing Program Overview - Blue RoomDavid Rogers, Director of Operations, Microsoft Executive Briefing ProgramThe Microsoft Executive Briefing program highlights the value of Microsoft solutions and services for key enterprise customers and part-ners. Microsoft Executive Briefing Centers around the globe offer carefully constructed programs to connect enterprise-level executives to key Microsoft leaders who help initiate, enhance, and accelerate critical business decisions. Customized executive briefings also address business challenges and detail how Microsoft’s innovative technology can help shape long-term objectives. Executive briefings are driven by our diverse and experienced consultants and engagement managers who stay abreast of trends and developments in key industries. Mindful of today’s economic conditions, the EBC teams are committed to enable engagements anywhere, anytime, that deliver meaningful, thoughtful discussion and planning.

Discussion Leader Engagement - Red RoomEllen Barnes-Pfiffner, Consultant, EBP Business Consulting Too often, briefing professionals are put in the position to “beg and borrow” company experts to participate in briefings. This “cajoling” offers little assurance that the most appropriate resource is available and ready to adjust their calendar to be included on the agen-da. World class briefing programs have a pool of discussion leaders who are willing and able to lead impactful customer discussions. These programs have deployed a broad strategy to ensure that discussion leaders feel valued and effective in their support of the Briefing Program. This session will explore best practices, processes and tools for identifying and developing your discussion leaders and giving them a reason to want to develop their presentation and facilitation skills. We’ll discuss actionable ideas for discussion lead-er recruitment, retention, recognition, and reward.

Let’s Play: Build Traffic and Generate Brand Affinity with Gamification - Yellow RoomGeorge Astacio, VP, Global Business Development, Blue TelescopeGamification leverages competition, collaboration and fun to create compelling interactive experiences.
