Tree Education Presentation Schedule

In celebration of Arbor Day, we are giving away one, free tree per Winter Springs household. To be eligible to receive a free tree you must:• Be a Winter Springs resident.• Attend at least one education presentation at

Explore Outdoors.• Sign up to receive your tree after the presentation.

The city will deliver trees to Winter Springs res-idents by the end of April. The trees available to choose from are as follows:

• Camellias (7 gal)• Yellow Tab (15 gal)• Crepe Myrtle (15 gal)

• Live Oak (15 gal)• Red Maple (15 gal)• Yaupon Holly (15 gal)

Many of these trees are com-monly found in our yards and local parks. This talk

discusses the trees & what their culinary & medicinal uses are.

Learn the basics of structural tree pruning for the life of a tree. This talk discusses how to cut, when to cut, &
