1) Pick three integers to hide your gems behind in the Hide column.

2) Rock-paper-scissors to find who seeks first.3) Beginning game: Make a guess where your

opponent hid a gem. They will tell you how many spots away the closest gem is. That could be higher or lower.

4) First to find all three gems wins.

Example: if you have a gem at -5 and they

guess -3, tell them “2 away” – but not whether it’s two higher or lower.

Advanced game: When a player guesses, tell them near ( 2 spaces away from the closest gem) or tell them far (≥ 3 spaces away from any gem) instead of telling themhow many spaces.
