WELCOME
Welcome to the Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center’s tenth annual Fruits of the Backyard field day.
We invite you to join us for a program designed to address issues facing both homeowners and producers. The presentations, educational displays, and trade show exhibitors will provide valuable and useful information, products, and techniques.
Educational topics, displays, and demonstrations will provide insight into the production of fruits and vegetables, maintenance of lawn grasses and ornamentals, and control of harmful insects and weeds. Also, the program will place special focus on apple production, gardening techniques that impact flavor, and honey production.
Please plan to attend and bring an interested neighbor as this program has been developed to help you make your backyard a more productive and enjoyable place to spend time with family and friends. In addition, we hope to provide an educational program to build your knowledge base in these areas, allowing you to be a more informed producer and citizen.
We look forward to hosting you and ask that you contact us with any special needs or questions concerning this educational event which is open to the public.
Thank you,
