By trade I am an enrolled nurse with eight years experience in Theatre. I have been a sales consultant in the medical and pharmaceutical sales field for 16 years representing many multinationals. I have run my own successful agency which I started in 2003. I have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, retail and hospital market and a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and their requirements. I marketed and sold over the counter drugs, Ethical and Medical for various Principles and I was responsible for the performance and development of over the counter drugs and scripting ethical line sales of pharmacy outlets and retail stores, monitoring stock levels for both. I provided in-house training for buyers and pharmacy assistants, timely feed back to principle suppliers regarding performance and sales on a monthly basis and maintained accurate records of all pricing.

I was responsible for the performance and development of over the counter drugs in Pharmacies and Hospital Pharmacies I serviced wholesalers in my area providing in-house training with Pharmacy Assistants and Buyers. Also providing timely feed back to Principle on the trends in the market e.g. opposition products, pricing and new product launches.

My role for MacMed Health was servicing wholesalers and calling on all pharmacies, vets and hospitals in Kwazulu Natal with medical and surgical disposables.

I was also responsible for servicing various buying groups in Kwazulu Natal as well as all the sales reports for this area. I managed my own territory and provided in-house training with Pharmacy Assistants and Buyers.
