Are classroom teachers truly providing adequate instruction in all Tiers of instruction?
Students who are Individualized Learning Plans need to make accelerated progress, meaning more than a year’s growth to catch up to their peers.
Why aren’t students making more progress?
Classroom teachers can provide reading intervention outside of the literacy block.
How can classroom teachers provide remediation for reading in social studies and science?
If students are not making adequate progress, adjustment to instruction needs to be made!!!
Accountability in terms of progress monitoring and adjusting instruction to meet the needs of all students.
I would like to focus on providing intervention and remediation for reading within the content areas to truly Respond to Intervention.
