All pupils were involved with project from start to finish and it was designed to be inclusive.
Visit canal area to explore what was available.

QR code Technology
Familiarise with QR code technology and how it could be used in an educational context
Learn how to read and create QR codes suitable for a fitness course
trial the fitness course throughout the design process. Make any adjustments as the project progressed.
Work with other classes obtaining peer feedback in order to continue to modify and improve project.
Publish updates on blog as it developed to share our progress widely.

Survey
• pupils from our class went out to the canal and asked members of the public what they used the canal for…
• the majority of people said they use it for work but also to keep fit.
Planning and Sharing Ideas
The Idea
• we thought of an idea that would be beneficial and fun at the same time
• we designed a circuit containing 8 stations with 3 levels at each.
• the circuit is open to all ages and our aim is to get members of the public active as well as children and parents.
Making up the Exercises
• our wonderful P.E teacher Mr Devine helped us create exercise sequences to develop core skills in PE.
• each group worked on a different body part• we designed a sequence of exercises at 3
different levels – level 1 to level 3
QR Code
• we bought 14 ipods using part of the £3000 grant from Education Scotland
• we used the ipods to design, make and scan QR codes
• you will need to scan the codes to get the activity instructions
• when you finish the circuit you can download and print a certificate of achievement from our school website.

• follow the instructions of your group leader• wait for the signal to start your activity and the
