Test Pin number Function

1 Output of the current transformer 2 Output of the Amplifier 3 Output of the AC to DC converter 4 Output of the level detector 5 Output of the Delay 6 Output of the OC Driver 7 Optocoupler input 8 Voltage supply approximately 11.3VDC 9 Voltage supply approximately 6.2VDC 10 0V reference

Table 2 – Test pin functions

A reading of approximately 1V on pin 7 indicates that a current has been detected above the threshold set and the LPM is switching on its output. A reading of approximately 0V indicates that no current has been detected and the LPM has its output is switched off.

A reading of approximately 11.3 volts on pin 8 indicates that a power source is available for the op-Amps.

A reading of approximately 6.2 volts on pin 9 indicates that a set reference voltage for the op-Amps is available.

Pin 10 is used as the 0 volts reference.

When taking measurements, keep in mind that the pins will most likely be covered in lacquer. Carefully scratch the lacquer away to allow for sufficient contact between the pin and test probes.
