for all who have asked for our prayers. Erica; John; Jean; Clive; Sarah.
Prayer for the week Heavenly Father
Like the woman in the gospel, I come before Jesus bringing others in my prayer. As I pray for those I love, I grow an appreciation of their goodness and ask for blessings for them. I think again of how they are blessings for me and I give thanks.
Sacred Space
There are large print copies of
pages from the Prayer Book for Sunday services at the back of the church.
If you would like one please ask a Greeter.
Sam Childers is a man who overcame drugs and violence to be a rebel of hope in a 13 year war to free enslaved children. He is in Australia during August/September and will be in Rockingham on Tuesday 29th August. Kim is going to see him and is happy to offer a lift to any one who would like to go. Please contact Kim for further information.
The Prayer Shawl group will be meeting on 21st August at 11.30am. Our main project is knitting beanies, which will be blessed and placed in Christmas boxes for children overseas. Thanks to Gillian for more than 10 beanies. Eleanor
