Downloading the Thermco Temperature Data Logger Application for Android
On and Android Smart Phone with NFC Download the Thermco Temperature Data Logger Application for Android:• Login to the Google Play Store• Search for Thermco (see picture to the right)• Download and install
• NOTE 1: The original versions of these data loggers indicate on the labels that they work with the “NHS3100 Temperature Logger App”. This is still true, but we do recommend that the Thermco app is used instead on Android phones.
• iPhone Operation: Install “NHS3100 Temperature Logger App” from NXP. iPhones restrict NFC capabilities and therefore cannot be used to configure the Thermco tags. iPhones support reading of the tags only.

Configuring a Thermco Data Logger Tag (1)
Proprietary Information 10
1. Swipe left again to go to the Config Screen2. Scan your Thermco Data Logger tag. Leave
the phone over the tag until all configuration has been completed. Moving the phone during configuration may prevent successful configuration.
3. You can now either send a new configuration to the tag or reset to the default (pristine, no logging) state
4. Five parameters can be configured:Wait time before recording first measurement (API v6 and above)Measurement intervalRun time until power-offLow temperature thresholdHigh temperature threshold
5. Lock the tag to prevent tag reconfiguration and reset (API v7 and above)

Enabling Live Temperature Measurements
Proprietary Information 16
Live measurements provide immediate temperature data to smart phone and are separate from the logging function. Please note that repeated live measurements with a smart phone in continued contact with the tags will produce erroneous reading due to heating caused by the smart phone and the RF field.
1. Turn on live measurements 2. Scan the Thermco Data Logger tag3. Verify your tag is reading temperature4. Swipe left again to go to graph. The
graph will be empty until you configure the Thermco Data Logger to start storing measurements
