vicky morales
vicky was born in london, but raised in west houston, only four miles away from the westin houston memorial city! after finishing high school in
houston, vicky moved to san antonio to attend trinity university, were she majored in business and economics. after graduating in 2001, vicky
accepted a “summer job” at the westin la cantera resort in san antonio. during that “summer job” vicky fell in love with the hospitality industry,
starwood and the westin brand, and a fellow westin la cantera employee that, 8 years later, became her husband! vicky worked as a front desk
agent, front desk supervisor, westin one call convention services manager, and catering manager during her six and a half years at the westin la
cantera. In 2008 vicky moved home to houston to join the team at the westin galleria & westin oaks, where she was senior catering manager and
later assistant director of catering and convention services. In may 2010 vicky was thrilled to be able to return to her part of town to join the pre-
opening team at the westin houston memorial city as director of catering and convention services.
to unwind, vicky enjoys spending time with her husband, her family and her two adorable cocker spaniels Louis & Bentley, reading great books,
trying california chardonnays, and when the houston weather is not too hot, running outdoors and cycling.

allison zogg
allison grew up in rochester, new york, home of the famous garbage plate. After high school, she attended suny morrisville & finished her degree in
hotel, restaurant & institutional managerment at the university of delaware, home of the fighting blue hens! allison has been a go-getter from the
beginning of her career! as an administrative assistant to the sales & catering team at the crowne plaza rochester riverside, she excelled quickly &
cross trained in the housekeeping, front office & banquet departments. with all the skills she had acquired, she accepted an opportunity to move to
orlando as the front office manager at the four points by sheraton orlando downtown. after moving between baltimore, charlotte & deerfield beach, fl
& several task force opportunities throughout the country, she settled at the westin diplomat resort & spa as the assistant front office manager where
she gained valuable experience & made many lasting relationships. ready for new challenges, allison took a position as front office manager at the
sheraton maui resort & spa and made the trek to maui from florida! during her time at the sheraton maui, she was promoted to assistant director of
catering & conventions services and quickly to director of catering & convention services. she is excited for her new adventure at the westin houston

in her free time, allision enjoys yoga, spin class & reading a good book. she loves to travel to new and exotic places. she is excited to explore houston
and is looking forward to adopting a cat from the humane society!

julie lovorn
julie is a native texan, and a proud graduate of st. edwards university in austin, texas. Julie earned a bachelors degree in international business, and studied
abroad in salamanca, spain. julie has always loved to travel, meet new people, and explore different cultures and their cuisines!
julie began her hospitality career in 2005 as a sales manager at the crowne plaza medical center, houston. A few years later she found her niche as a catering sales
manager for the hilton houston westchase. Julie is extremely passionate about her catering career. for julie, catering is "the perfect result of threeworlds
colliding" - the sales part of her role is both challenging and enlighting; the culinary aspect engages her creative side; and event planning is simultaneously
methodical, ever-changing, and rewarding. Julie joined the Westin Houston Memorial City pre-opening team in October of 2010, and is equally thrilled about
continuing her catering career with Starwood, and having the opportunity to open the hotel.
Julie is not only passionate about catering, but also about music and searching for new pieces of vintage jewelry. The real apple of Julie's eye, however, is her
precious pup Jack. Julie works long hours in the catering world, but thankfully Jack has a great mom who lovingly takes her canine son to day-care each and every
day!
SOCIAL CATERING MANAGER
carol perrard
Carol has deep roots in Texas where she grew up and has lived throughout her life except during the years of 2002 thourgh 2006, when she lived in Denver,
Colorado. Denver is where Carol began her hospitality career as a catering coordinator and a catering manager at the Embassy Suites Denver International
Airport. After moving home to Houston in 2006, Carol added the Hyatt Regency Houston to her portfolio. She enjoyed working with corporate and social clients
as a catering manager at the downtown property. In January, Carol ventured west to become the social catering manager at the beautiful Westin Houston,
Memorial City. Carol is thrilled to be focusing on weddings, galas, proms and other social events that she feels are particularly fulfilling.
Exhilerating events is her passion and she looks forward to making her clients feel special every day. Carol enjoys the outdoors and loves participating and
watching sports. To unwind Caorl lover hiking and horseback riding on a sunshine filled day.
