As private and public sector organisations throughout Europe seek out fresh initiatives to reach new thresholds of productivity, value and growth, the focus on shared services continues to sharpen.
The potential benefits of shared services are the subject of much debate, with perks such as consolidation and opportunities to collaborate well documented, though so far the public sector has been slow to embrace it, specifically in the UK.
