Spanish verbs end in -ar, -er, -ir in the
infinitive form.
The infinitive is the verb form which
means ‘to…..’ in English:
› Hablar means to speak
› Comer means to eat
› Vivir means to live
Verb endings change depending on
who is doing the action:
› Mi amigo habla español
› My friend speaks Spanish
› Hablamos inglés
› We speak English
