President’s Message
If not us, who, if not now, when?
It's hard to believe March is already here. Please remember to vote on Tuesday! Super Tuesday will be an important day for helping to decide who our Presidential nominee will be so encourage all conservative voters to head to the polls and VOTE! I am sorry we had to cancel our February meeting due to inclement weather. There is so much going on in the political world that I encourage each of our members to watch the news (I prefer FOX), and if you are on the internet, follow our club’s new Facebook page. Thank you Jennifer Brown - you do an amazing job of keeping it updated with local goings on. For those of you who missed our Lincoln-Reagan dinner at CrossKeys Vineyards this past Friday night, we had a great turnout with motivational speeches from former Gov-ernor George Allen and Congressman Bob Goodlatte. Both encouraged us to be en-gaged in this election year, with it being more important than any election in our life-time. This should be a call to our membership. Please consider in the coming weeks if there is someone you could invite to come as your guest to our next meeting. This is the year to grow our club. We will not win in November through complacency. INVITE a friend, co-worker, neighbor, or church family member to join us on March 21st. And speaking of our next meeting, I have reserved the back room at Agrodolce Italian Restaurant, 1647 E. Market Street (formerly Bravo's) for our meeting. I mentioned at our January meeting that we would be trying out new venues for our meetings. This room is very large and can accommodate a larger group. Please let me know if you are bringing a NEW friend so we have enough seating prepared for our March meet-ing. The owner is allowing us to order off of the lunch menu to hold down cost. One of the topics we will be discussing is the upcoming State convention. Our club will play a key role in hosting the convention April 29-30. More information to follow! This past weekend I attended the VFRW Board meeting in Richmond and received the call for the VFRW convention April 22-24 in Tyson's Corner. The deadline to register for the convention is March 23rd. At this point, we are eligible for 4 delegates’ votes. I received a 26 page packet of information with the call. Please contact me if you are interested in more information. I will go over all of this at our meeting and we will be deciding how many registrations our club will pay for at the meeting. Please go to the VFRW website to learn more. And finally a heartfelt thank you to our very own Donna Moser for serving as Rocking-ham County Chair and best wishes to new chair Dan Cullers. Our club looks forward to working with the County, City, YR's and CR's in 2016 to elect a Republican Presi-dent!
GO VOTE ON TUESDAY! Suzanne

Ladies come join us for an evening of...Wine, Fondue and Friends
March 18th, 6:30 pm
Eagle Carpet Community Room 1352 Peach Grove Avenue Harrisonburg, VA 22801
All RWHRCo women and friends are
cordially invited to attend our inaugural
Republican Women's Night Out! Bring a
bottle of wine (or favorite beverage of
choice), and prepare to enjoy some fondue and games. We will have both cheese and chocolate fon-
dues, we just need for you to sign-up to bring dip-able treats and/or finger sandwiches.
We will be playing Progressive Hearts, so bring your friendly competitive spirit. If you do not know
how to play, do not fret. We will make sure that everyone will know how.
We will also be recognizing St. Patrick's Day, albeit a day late. So make sure to wear something green!
With the busyness of our lives, and the hectic year we have ahead of us, this is an opportunity to re-
lax, get to know one another better, and just have some fun. This is also a great recruiting opportuni-
ty, so bring any friends you think would be interested in joining us for this very important year!
