County GOP Meet and

by CRW and Irving RW.
We are excited to be
offering an opportuni-
ty to hear and meet
I hope you each had a wonderful
summer and a chance to relax
and enjoy time with friends and
family. It is now time to go back
to school, get back in our rou-
tines and gear up for the No-
vember Election! Here in Texas,
we have a very real battle being
waged to turn Texas blue. If our
electoral votes go Democrat, it
becomes mathematically impos-
sible for a Republican to win the
White House. Democrats are
coordinating weekly block walks
and receptions to draw in new
voters. But, we have a powerful
force that they don’t have and
that force is Texas Republican
Women! As TFRW President,
Jody Rushton stated, “The 2014
election will change the direction
of this country, so let’s all work
to have a hand in deciding that
direction!” Please join us at the
GOP Victory Center in Dallas
for block walking and phone
banking, encourage your families,
friends and neighbors to vote
Republican to the bottom of the
ballot, and volunteer to be a poll
watcher, or election official.
These are just some of the ways
to get involved and Keep Texas
Red.
I look forward to seeing you at
our luncheon for Dennis Michael
Lynch, our October 16 Meet and
Greet or one of our monthly
meetings. It is an exciting time
to be a Republican Woman and I
am honored and privileged to
serve as your President.
Keeping Texas Red,
Kit Whitehill

Caring for America—Snowball Express
“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth de-
fending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have
received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them
for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them
to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the pre-
sent generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us
by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false
and designing men.”
