My objective is to know the ten do’s and the don’ts’ of blogging. Some of these things have a lot to do with what people are doing, whether its good or bad. It is my duty to know these different rules so that I know what I am, and what I am not suppose to do.
Become friendly with other people who are bloggers.
Join a blog community and check out other bloggers, and follow discussion threads.
Try to comment on blogs you have visited. Link to other bloggers sites. Be considerate of any who complains.
Write a review. Brainstorm the information first. Quote from other blogs, as long as its cited
on your own. Use strong spam protection in your
comments. Leave a kindhearted or fair comment to
someone, especially when they leave a good comment about you.
Do not plagiarize other blog contents, especially from word to word.
Don’t ignore comments visitors make on your blog posts.
Don’t blog about something if it is not true. It would be considered slander, or libel.
Don’t post the same content over and over again.
Don’t get defensive. If you write a lot you’ll make a mistake. And you would start a conflict
Don’t try to be someone you’re not. A different style is what makes a successful blog.
Don’t always expect someone to give you the credibility you think you deserve.
Don’t be too clever. Plain language works best for most blogs.
Don’t fear risks and failures. Take chances, try new things.
Don’t lie, you’ll get caught.
What should you brainstorm before you blog?
What happens if you lie? Why shouldn’t you get defensive? Quote from other blogs, as long as
its…?
I have learned and studied the many different do’s and don’ts of blogging. The positive things about blogging teach us the basic of it, while the negative thing keep us aware of what could happen. Blogging is changing the way people communicate with each other, and how they go on about their days. In order to have a successful blog, you must first know the rules that go with it.
