Habitat
• Live only on the Australian island of Tasmania.
• Live in forests near rivers.
• Live near the outskirts of suburbs and eat road kill.
Interesting Facts
• Lived in mainland Australia at one point but became extinct.
• Got their name because of their crazy screams and crazy personalities.
• Tasmanian Devils are in danger of a disease called “Devil facial tumor disease.”
Food Source
• Tasmanian Devils will eat any dead animal no matter how long its been dead.
• They eat road kill, other dead animals, and live animals.
• They are not seriously hunted by anything on the island.

• There are no recorded deaths of humans by Tasmanian Devils.
• People have been bitten or scratched after messing with a devil.
• Some can be very affectionate towards humans and may even allow being picked up.
• Got a bad reputation from humans of being mean and scary because of their terrifying screams.
